  • bwahahaha carolla is so fucking awesome. those shitty beeps make this rant. adds a level of bootleg crassness this rant needs. FUCK OWS.

  • rolls royce? sounds like someone who worked hard at employing lots of people working for 4 an hour. how sad and uneducated this guy sounds.

  • Love you Adam, but so off base here. Myself, and many progressives, are personally doing just fine. Our motivation comes from a desire for social and economic justice, whether our views are misguided or not.

  • If I grow and apple tree that will feed me for the rest of my life, and others can take from it without paying me anything, why should I feel bad about others benefiting off my work as long as I still get all the apples I want?

  • The concept of Working for a Living, should be based on it's Necessity, not a Mandated by the status quo to be imposed on all people.

The Cause of this creates meaningless businesses that do not contribute anything to society and actually harms the environment to provide more jobs causing government to tax citizens to bail the Banks out if the business and employees of business default on their loans. Such a vicious cycle.

  • Too bad he's completely wrong.

  • Adam is wrong, fuck him

  • Adam Corolla doesn't get it...

  • @Jumpnjackflashisagas the behavior of government through lobbying and the passage of legislation has indirectly allowed corporations banks and other sectors to behave in a manner detrimental to americans. the government being the soul source of this aka an enabler.

  • Rich people aren't as special as they think they are. Those f*cks can pay plenty more.

  • I agree with Carolla! I detest the dregs of society who demand that govt take someone else's property and give it to them!

  • Adam is a great man. I've listened to him since the Love Line days for over a decade and I agree with about 98% of what he says. I wish he could get a broader audience for his cutting satire and political commentary. America needs his pragmatic sensibility now more than ever. No apologies, just pure logic and pure realism. Carolla has a greater social and ideological understanding than most politicians today. He's not perfect, but we, as a society, would benefit by following his guidance.

  • Yea Adam C. you said it all. Great stuff.

  • I agree 100% people need to stop blaming everyone for there problems and take responsibility and quit depending on the government to take care of them. Just because someone has worked hard, went to college, and made something out of themselves they should not have to pay more to help keep up all the people who do not want to work or who have droped out school and are at home sitting on there ass.everyone should pay the same% no matter what there income even illegals.

  • @dannyray1222 Yes I agree, and wtf does this statement have to do with the occupy movement

  • heystupidopenthedoor they dont have demands they area growing movement, it will take development hopefully and some good leadership before there able to make concerted demands. I saw the Charley Chaplin Video on ur channel so Im kinda curious what u have heard. If you knew the truth I dont think u would be saying what u are especially at 19 years of age. I want u to please telle me how you disagree with this statement.....

  • One of the top ten least talented celebrities comments on the self-entitled individuals.

  • @greekvvedge Carolla is very talented, and very ignorant on politics. He isn't a fucking political talk show host.

  • @mGKingCotton He apparently knows a lot more than you do! Perhaps you are unable to understand his message?

  • I'm unemployed and I totally agree with Adam 100%, grow some balls and work your ass off

  • ABOUT TIME someone called these whiner entitlement whores what they are. Go get em Adam. We need more tear gas.

  • @SpreadingtheMuse

If he needs to swear this much, he either has a weak point, or he himself is an idiot.

  • Adam is not getting it

  • @PepperGeorge No, PepperGeorge is not getting it.

  • @LilMike1011000 Oh, so that's what the "battle" is about?

    That's the 14th different "explanation" I've heard.

    LOL, what a fucking joke.

  • ada is right yuppies come back to reality

  • Adams got it completely wrong, he's usually really insightful but this is just way off base. The break down: 1% of America i.e. the major corporations have a profound influence on the US government without regard to moral considerations, environmental considerations, or any consideration that doesn't include profit. So the 99% of America who isn't filthy rich and has noble, just, and benevolent motivations for improving society and our county's well being need a integral voice in government!

  • @MarleyNicholeTravis Have you seen their demands? They're out of their fucking gourd! I rarely agree with Adam, but in this case I really do. The OWS "protesters" are still children. I'm 19, I know the value of a dollar and of effort! I grew up in a tough place! I had to survive beatings and poverty! These people are spoiled children! This is fucking stupid! Adam had it right!

  • @heystupidopenthedoor Dead-on brother.

  • Fuck the Banks and Fuck Adam.

  • @IndigoVagrant So, you keep your money in your mattress?

Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot, you have no money. LOL

  • @TheWitchOvAgnesi Protecting the banks from criticism when they took our fucking tax money and bought our politicians is reprehensible. Fuck anyone who defends the banks.

  • @IndigoVagrant Gimme a break, look who got the banks to where they are now. Look who allowed them to get to this point.

That's right, the politicians. And I'm not talking about either the current or past (Bush) admin. Go back to the mid-nineties for your answer.

No-one's been "bought." The banks were given a set of fucked up demnads with subprime lending. The government realizes this, hence the bailouts.

You're holding your slingshot backwards and you've got both eyes closed.

  • End globalism and get all the damn immigrants out of my country and I'll look up to the rich man again because he's not treating me like some Beijing factory worker.

Even poor conservatives are starting to see through the bull!

  • @Curas1 Do you understand what you're saying? It's rife with contradiction.

  • Adam's explanation makes sense if you accept HIS definition of what the movement is all about, namely "envy for the rich." So with this erroneous foundation, not only does he miss the point but makes himself look foolish in the process. Now I am an avid listener of his podcast...so like he so often tells those who would disagree with what he says, I say back to him: "Why don't you shut the fuck up, you douchebag assfuck.?" Because that's apparently what you do to win an argument.

  • We are not all like that! Some of us had parents that made us work at 14, as soon as legally possible. And I got a participation trophy once. It ended up in the trash can. There is certainly a huge number of those entitled kids. But there are kids from my generation that are not. You don't hear us that often though. Why? Cause we are too busy busting our ass to get ahead and don't have time to bitch and complain.

  • People are a product of their environment. The older people are always going to criticize younger generations. None of America's problems stem from the millenial generation. Most of them have only been able to vote for one or two elections. This "tough love" theory stems from earlier citizens letting the country slip and now they're angry. Most of the young people had parents that were able to sustain good employment out of high school. Now they want the same out of college or other schooling

  • Everyone gets paid the same.... Whether you are a ceo or you are occupying wall street in a tent, everyone in a capitalistic society gets paid the same amount.... What they are worth.

  • @seansloan5 Sounds good to me.

  • Carolla was born in Los Angeles, California[4][5][6][7] to an

Italian-American father, Jim Carolla, a psychologist; and his

mother, Kris (née Novello), a perpetually out-of-work welfare

recipient with a degree in Chicano studies.[8] Adam's parents did

not give him a middle name.[9] As a joke, he wrote "Adam Lakers

Carolla" on his driver's license application.[10] His driver's

license still gives his full name as "Adam Lakers Carolla.

  • @ironmaideninc also an LAVC dropout. It really shows. People should research their heroes before they sing their praises. Boy, isn't he the pot calling the kettle black. I love it.

  • People are a product of their environment. It's funny how older people always criticize a younger generation. They are the ones that have created all of these problems. Last I checked young kids were'nt the ones voting or spoiling themselves.

  • @Tikiman03 Maybe the problems we have today are the cause of the actions of the previous generation. The issue is not where these problems have come from, we already know that. The issue is, how will we respond to these problems? Will we leech off of the rich or the government, or will we step up and make our own way?

  • @hoodooman9 Agreed. That is what the OWS movement is all about. They can no longer rely on congress to make things better. The same politicians that are corrupted by big business. The people need to step up and have voices heard. I don't agree exactly with what they are doing, but I also understand that it is not hurting anything.

  • @Tikiman03 Wrong, the movement is filled with antisemitism. Plus, it's getting in the way of businesses operating where the "protests" are occurring. OWS is not about "stepping up." It's about a bunch of unemployed so-called racist "anarchists" who want something for no effort. They're just using the Wall Street bailout as an excuse to congregate.

    Let's be honest here.

  • @Tikiman03 You might want to educate yourself. It has never been and it is not now the Congress or Gov't duty to make things better. You need to read about the founding fathers and the principles they valued in creating our country. Freedom means you make your own situation better.

  • @Jumpnjackflashisagas The founding fathers were around 200 years ago before everything in this country existed. Their philosophy is great if modern day problems did'nt form. It is the way that we do business and lack of regulation that are creating problems, not individuals. It is congress's responsibility to make things better they are our representative officials. They exist for no other reason than to create laws that protect our rights and pursuit of happyness.

  • @Tikiman03 Obviously you don't have a clue what the founding fathers we're about. Don't ask the govt to do it! You do it yourself.

  • @Tikiman03 interesting, I always thought OWS was 100% made up of lazy, unemployable idiots.

  • @Tikiman03 OWS is ran by George Soros

  • 30 seconds in and I had to stop the video. It was quite obvious that you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. The Federal Reserve is a private company that is giving trillions of tax payer dollars to their other financial businesses and leaving the tax payers with the bill. This is the fucking problem.

  • @Nebzz You idiot! The federal reserve is part of the US Treasury, it's not a private company. Learn what the hell you are talking about!

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @Jumpnjackflashisagas

Nebzz is right. The Fed is privately owned. Its shareholders are private banks.

Funny how you just called him/her an idiot. google it.

  • @AlexPlesz Moron! From the federal reserve website:

The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States. Its unique structure includes a federal government agency, the Board of Governors, in Washington, D.C., and 12 regional Reserve Banks.

Reflecting this structure, which balances centralization with regional presence, the Fed has web sites that are national in scope (see links at right) and regional (see below).

I can't stress enough just how stupid you idiots are!

  • @AlexPlesz

From Wikipedia: Federal Reserve is independent within government in that "its monetary policy decisions do not have to be approved by the President or anyone in the executive or legislative branches of government." Its authority is derived from statutes enacted by the U.S. Congress and the System is subject to congressional oversight. The members of the Board of Governors, including its chairman and vice-chairman, are chosen by the President and confirmed by the Senate".

  • @Jumpnjackflashisagas

here's a good read for you:

    bit(dot)ly/1F02h3

and here's an interesting 30min documentary about your Country's banks and money in general.

    bit(dot)ly/ic9Uy7

  • Outstanding, I couldn’t have said it any better…

  • Fucking douche Corolla here. Talk about senses of entitlement - Wall Street is the one that entirely failed this country and felt entitled to billions of dollars in government handouts. This guy doesn't even know what the fuck he is talking about.

  • This was awesome. Perfectly said. Instead of spanking a kid, give them a 'time out'. Yeah, that worked well. Snot nosed kids who get everything they want from their parents, the 'give me, take me and buy me' brats who can't figure out why adults won't do it in the real world after they have grown up. Adults earn what they have by working for it, not trying to take it from someone else. I wouldn't hire one of these idiots who occupy anything. If you have it so bad here in America, leave. Please.

  • These kids were intentionally spoiled with psychological war fare. Over emotional conditioning, repetitive villianizing agitation, demoralizing entertainment, false promises, false history. In reality, they are victims. Casualties of Globalism, Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Liberalism or what ever shade of Collective dronism they think they are. It's all the same anti American Constitution, anti Capitalist, anti individual, anti Christian, failed foriegn ideology.

  • He just doesn't get it.

  • Thank you! My thoughts exactly!!!

  • You know, the whole OWS thing crashed and burned itself, it had no leadership, no voice, it was a collective of mixed ideas from many angles some from unfactual basis. Yes there were people in there with legitimate arguments, but the movement got polluted with the lets re-light the hippie candle crowd, drug addicts, and wierdos. Protesting walstreet is like kicking water up hill, the problem is and has been government, its size, and the way it operates. If Anything protest the TAX CODE.

  • Adam...I can't BELIEVE how you nailed this!!

Phenominal! Just amazing. Excellent excellent job!!

From start to finish. Brillaint too. My opinion just rose 99% on you!!

  • @aquaiz you dont get it either.

  • @aquaiz Nailed what? OWS is hardly about entrepreneurs, it's about insider trading. People rigging the stock market at the cost of the tax payer. The banks didn't earn their money via hard work. They crashed in 08 due to their incompetence, and because they have men on the inside, they got a giant 7 trillion dollar bail out via the federal reserve via mine, yours, and Corolla's tax Dollars. They're not Occupying Steve Jobs, who earned his money, they're occupying WALL STREET, who STOLE ours.

  • @Derekrife1 No it's not. If it were about insider trading and market manipulation, these OWS brats would be doing something to actively expose hedge funds and market makers for their illegal activities. Instead of trashing parks and crapping on police cars. Have you ever heard of the name Nate Thoma? I'm guessing not. Now that's a guy who has actually done something to expose insider trading on Wall Street. Carolla is dead on. These kids do think they're entitled.

  • Comment removed

  • @bet0001970 Yes it is about insider trading, protest itself is a form of exposure, and apparently it works better than whatever Nate Thoma did since he hasn't been in the media cycle at all. Your argument makes no sense.

  • @Derekrife1 I guess you don't know how to do a google search. If you did, you'd know that he accomplished more than the thousands who seem to think beating a drum will somehow make history. Meanwhile Thoma changed the course of the largest bankruptcy in the country and exposed insider trading by 4 major WS hedge funds in the distressed debt market. That you don't know about this, only shows how little you and these entitled children truly understand about corruption on Wall Street.

  • @bet0001970 Then lets do a google search: You have a single guy winning a single case of fraud perpetrated against him, and then proceeds to quit trading stock. Congrats he swiped away a blemish, but the overall infection still remains, and is still growing. He managed to win 50 thousand back for himself, But that's all. Those hedge funds are still scamming, banks are creating more debt, the fed is still inflating money, Washingtons still bought.

    You name dropped congratulations.

  • @Derekrife1 Wow. Congratulations to you. You're officially the village idiot. Thoma has not stopped trading. The case is not over. Those hedge funds are still under the threat of being sued as well as a criminal investigation. And because of what he did, several other hedge funds may soon be investigated. Not to mention, his actions may have broader implications on trading in distressed debt in the future. But you're right. That's nothing compared to camping out in a park for two months.

  • @Derekrife1 Oh yeah, what was it they accomplished again? Specifically. I mean...which hedge funds did the OWS protestors take down? Cause you're telling everyone here that this was about insider trading by these guys. So if this OWS movement was soooo damn awesome, then tell us all: what exactly did it accomplish?

  • Comment removed

  • @bet0001970 Fuck you

  • fuck you adam! i love you man but you seriously don't understand the issue. its not the rich so much as it is the government/corporations fucking everyone including the rich you will become a victim as well! oh wait you already were that's why you aren't on the main stream media anymore! CHEERS

  • @papescape corporations get their power from government, the source of it all is government, lobbyists, and the way big money is able to influence government. Second, the tax code is so jacked up especially here in california aka shit hole because the only people getting taxed are the rich for the most part. But if your like me and make $25,000 or less, you get a freaking tax return back at the end of the year, and put nothing into the pot. People on welfare should pay a share of taxes PERIOD.

  • @XxgoetfacexX you pay taxes on your consumer purchases. The less money you earn, the higher the percentage you pay on consumer taxes.

  • @XxgoetfacexX Yes, because Warren Buffet's secretary pays less in taxes than Buffet himself right? RIGHT?

  • @XxgoetfacexX

Government is influenced by wealthy people and corporations.

    Money talks, bull $#!t walks.

Over time the corporations have managed to control/own the government.

You seem to think the opposite.

First we need to take the money and lobby out of government and put regulation that limits the extent of corporations reach.

It is a symptom of letting the free market capitalism be too free. Wherever you let things go without rules, the big and strong will crush the weak. It's a jungle!

  • @XxgoetfacexX That is really ignorant! Corporation do not get their power from govt. The get it from consumers. Govt is supposed to get its power from the people, but the system is broken. We need a rebirth of liberty. As Thomas Jefferson said, "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots!"

  • @papescape Stop whining about "the rich." It's the politicians that make the laws that affect their behavior. "The rich" can't force you or anybody else to do anything. Government can, and does. Blame politicians. At least you can change them with a vote. Customers, markets and stockholders will hold corporations accountable.

  • Hit the nail right on the head.

  • Bravo sir. Bra-Fucking-Vo. I'm sick of these self important knobhead kids.

  • Adam for president 2012

  • My kid's soccer game score was "Fun to Fun"

    Pathetic.
