Adam is a great man. I've listened to him since the Love Line days for over a decade and I agree with about 98% of what he says. I wish he could get a broader audience for his cutting satire and political commentary. America needs his pragmatic sensibility now more than ever. No apologies, just pure logic and pure realism. Carolla has a greater social and ideological understanding than most politicians today. He's not perfect, but we, as a society, would benefit by following his guidance.

The break down: 1% of America i.e. the major corporations have a profound influence on the US government without regard to moral considerations, environmental considerations, or any consideration that doesn't include profit.
