This is by far my FAVORITE Goldfrapp album. Supernature is a close second but this album is amazing on so many different levels. Another reason to buy her Vinyl is they always come with a bitchin poster
monster love, what an amazing song! goldfrapp made it again, this album was great all the songs on the record where just magical, and for me this song made the album, is so pure so emblematic is merely the love itself, how amazing can be!! this is amazing just amazing, reminds me all the i want, a monster love!
i like the 60's psychedelia and polyphonic spree-ish vibe of goldfrapp. that's a good direction, in one way, for future music, because it's primal human.
ok: Golden Frappe is a band of human creatures who inevitably create music which reminds me of 60's psychedelic, like the doors, or the who, or the blah blah blah (a little known band), and that also reminds me of
(with the use of psychedelics) the human trying to get at his spiritual and otherwise roots through music, getting to his/her base, or primal roots in their experience. the musicians do it and the listeners, with or without drugs.
it's just a phenomenon. perhaps it means something that i can learn from in making music. when making music, get at your core. feel the force. then make music accordingly. etc, etc, this doesn't take into account my experience with BCI (brain computer interface) music. i'm not their yet materially. but that will be interesting will it not? thought controlled music?
Boring? I could never describe them as boring. FM, BC, SN, & this one are all unique and explore different paths. Seventh Tree is the morning after the opulence & decadence of Supernature. A natural progression. Its beauty and intimacy move me.
Totally agree with you. In spite of this album being the one that pulls me less, I still admire their work and the fact that FM, BC SN and ST are so different... If you really like Goldfrapp you can never get bored of them. :D
Only the Olsens Twins, speaking o creativity, ranks to Alisons Gs' anckles, one on the rite and the other one on the left...oops, I'm apparantly on the air...:-p
A&E is the best track on the album, as it is the centerpiece track, placed right in the middle. But this is the close runner-up, and of course used to close the album. This is a stellar album.

I think Felt Mountain and Black Cherry are the best Goldfrapp albums by far...real masterpieces...This album is not bad, good music but boring

Are they going to come out with another album, or is this there last? The lyrics made it sound like as though they are going to stop making music.
