@sadiesykes Contact your state's Department of Natural Resources or wildlife department for info on what your state's laws are. There are also sites that will tell you who your county's wildlife officer is so you can call them and get some information.

You ever think about rescuing another fox like you did for Bridgie and Kevie? I know no one could ever take Bridgie's place but saving another fox would be the good that came out of it. Hope everyone's ok and staying out of the cold especially the brat (kevie)

@hawkster81 When Brady and I first got into rescue/rehab, we were both young and healthy...seems like a long time ago. It's a very hard decision to make but it would be a whole lot easier to have a boatload of volunteers at our disposal. ;o)

@teckelmn No, not yet, this is our busiest time of the year (as it is with most folks), so we have to pick and choose what things take priority over others. If it were something healthwise for Kevie, of course it will take priority over everything else. The pass through is on the "to do" list. hahaha Oh and I like my new hat, it keeps my head toasty! :o)

@teckelmn Oh almost forgot... at :21 is a great shot of that thumbnail that foxes stick inside their prey for holding onto them so they don't get away. That's the one that does the MOST damage to my skin because she does the same thing to me! hahaha

@Jimfoxyboy Kevie has her stink all over my one coat, I call it my "fox wallopin' coat cause she always gives me a wallopin'! HA! Well I got a new one and she thought I was a stranger until I said something. Then when I rub herself all over the coat and get her stink on it, now she's fine with it. I guess I'll have to do the same thing with the hat...if I can get her to stop attacking it that is. ;o)

Kevie's so beautiful! I thought Kim from Nature's Garden said you lived in the Ozarks. Where you live looks so flat, so what part of the Ozarks is that? I plan to move there one day. I have relatives near Branson, (and one up in Springfield, but that's not in the Ozarks.) My uncle says it is prettier than Vermont in the Fall.

@cooperget No, thankfully! When a fox is spooked, the first thing they do is to RUN and HIDE. It happened with Bridgie a few times and I'd have to send Jack, the Jack Russell Terrier and Bridgie's first best friend, after her. Otherwise we'd probably never get her back. From her hiding place, she saw Jack running around and couldn't resist a good roll in the grass. Macy is Kevie's "Jack" but I'm not sure if she'd be able to get her back if she got loose.
