Porky has been a close friend of mine for more than 30 years and I can assure you that he's one tough son of a gun. You've got to admit, being 93 and mostly blind, on a wet field, he made a good pitch--with such vigor that it knocked him backwards! By the way, that's his wife, Jean, who walked him out. The first guy to run out after he fell was Josh Gilbert, a film maker who is working on a documentary of Porky's life.

I'm a fan from New Jersey. I was sitting behind the Pirates dugout when this unfortunate incident took place. It sure took a long time for someone to help him. I guess they were in shock.

The guy is 93 years old ! How can you consider this a "Fail" ?Just being there and giving it a try in front of all those people, makes it a "Win" as far as I am concerned.
