If you love lalonde, check out "snakefinger" from "residents" who is a huge influence of Les's, and also check out "the paper chase" completely different, but probably the most unique guitarist I ever heard. Making fun of someone's name is quite disrespectful, and he is quite skilled at playing the bass. But you're missing the point of playing an instrument. It's not to prove your chops or skills, it's to play so you can enjoy playing. Vic Wooten and Jaco are great guys, but each plays completely different styles than each other. Wooten is a great text-book player, but what makes Claypool good is his style of playing and personality. Putting your mark on your music is what counts.
