@YoungOldSchoolRapper definitely a caprice. impala came in 3 Colors, BBB, DCM DGGM. Always look at the interior, gotta be grey leather. plus impala came with body colored trim. its a caprice with an impala grill, and towing package LT1 instead of the L99.
but i installed a custom made exhaust which is side pipes and at the end a little muffler . a chrome tube closed from the end and 3 rows of holes every row had 8 holes 10 cm wide
and there you go a good looking impala with side pipes

You all really need to learn your cars, i'm on my 2nd Caprice and I have an Impala SS and Crown Vic, Marauder, I CAN assure you that car you see above is not an Impala, it's a 94 9C1 police pkg Caprice, look at the spot light and all that chrome sh*t all around the car, and it doesn't have a wing or the cut quarter windows. I have that exact same car, IMP rims,grille n all but its still a Caprice, Look at an Impala side by side, when you get a chance, Nice Clone though! Love A.M. clear corners.

These cars especially in the early 60's and the 1996 models were almost exactly the same with the caprice being more of a luxury car and the impala having the performance mods. And these cars were i believe the last cars 100% made here in the US, parts and assembly.
Its harder than you think to peel with these cars the way that they torque off the line. My 1992 has over 400 rwhp and 460 lb-ft and its difficult for me to burn unless i power brake. Plus the 9c1's and certain models (like mine) have a true posi rear.
Not an Imp, this car has the Caprice c-pillar quarter windows, not the clipped Imp windows. Also, it has the spotlight on the a-pillar. Its a 9C1. ANYONE can install Imp trim on any 1991-1996 Caprice. I got a '94 L99, not bad, good economy.

@landau88 impala is the luxury version. thats why it has a digital speedometer and leather seats. the caprice has a normal speedometer and cloth seats... u think the police would use luxury cars?

That sounds fine and all but it is not the real power that should be there for a caprice. If you want that car or your own car to sound powerful and put it money where it's mouth is..take a look at what I have done with mine. I will be having a website shortly to show people what was done to the car.
get over yourself. Let people do what the want with their car. An Impala SS is really nothing more than an trim package on a 9C1 caprice. Read read read and you will understand. Those of us who don't care if it's a real SS can clone one for 1/2 the cost, and have money left over for headers and a new torque converter.

maaan all the neighbors were complaining and shit
