  • LOL! Jackie Chan carrying a Maxim

  • and what do you call the gun in the police story series for instance? a kung fu modified chop sitck? wtf

  • Why Why Why -.-

If the Revolution doesn't started China would still have a Emperor -.-

  • It was the Qing dynasty, not Ming.

  • the movie look good but make it English

  • stadt der gewalt - bester jackie chan film

  • When i saw Jackie Chan holding that revolver, i said to myself "Dis shit aint real"

  • Description is wrong. Overthrew Qing dynasty (manchurians) not the Ming. Ming dynasty was overthrew by Manchurians 350 years ago

  • @06lanevomr And here I was expecting to see Dr. Sun Yat-Sen operating a time machine.

  • You mena overthrew the Qing dynasty.

  • A whole lot of good the Revolution did, the Communists took control of the mainland and the Kuomintang was forced to retreat to the island of Taiwan. But all of China is increasingly coming under the influence of the American Empire...so what good was it to rebel? I know a Manchu, she laughs at this sometimes...

  • @TheShadowParliament Do you believe America and it's leaders learned from these thousand yr old systems? And is now implementing a better solution. Do you think there will be another civil war in the united states? I'm sure they have taken precautions to subdue an uprising right?

  • i remember jackie said he wishes to act in a movie where he do not have to use kung fu. im glad his wish may have fullfilled.

  • cool jackie have machine guns

  • da hell?!?!? where's the Kung-Fu?!?!?!

  • Is this movie any good? I am wary of films that deal with political themes that come from mainland china. You know how the CCP tends to tamper with those movies or ban them outright.

  • @redwhitedude

The movie can still be good. At least movie/TV censorship in China isn't as bad as it used to be in the US.

In any case, it would be very interesting to see Jackie Chan playing a role as this.

  • @ramboman88 I know where I can download it but I am hesitating because of this supposed political interference. I don't know what happened to hong kong films they used to be considered the hollywood of the east.

  • @redwhitedude Well, there is no other way to know for sure than to see it. Taiwan also makes films but their industry isn't very big.

  • Jackie Chan movie without Kung Fu and Comedy is like Censored porn...

  • no offence to Jackie Chan, but I actually think someone else should play the role of Huang Keqiang(the greatest of all revolutionaries). And the "kungfu" scenes from 1911 should be cut. This would make 1911 a perfect movie.

  • Where is Jakie's kung fu ???

  • @farafeshow because hes getting older...

  • @farafeshow thats the reason i bought this movie!

  • CHING CHONG DYNASTY!!

    BITCHESSS :D

  • Jackie Chan doesn't use guns D:

  • @ImAweirdKid its a war movie... and he is a police officer...using gun is inevitable..

  • did he just say: Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart ?!

  • 不是大陸拍的還能看

  • I like Jackie Chan movies because their super interesting with all Kung Fu stuff, but I don't see that in the trailer. Is there any kungfu in the movie?

  • @codergames No, this is like a documentary film to learn about their history. There will be no kungfu scene. :)

  • this movies releasing big in india cause its jackie's 100th film hope its good

  • 这部电影虽然是100年前的时代背景,但有头脑的人会看懂它的真正含义。是对当代中共独裁腐败的最恰当的讽刺电影。

  • Is the actual movie fully in Chinese?

  • @linkin1995 Yes

  • Fuck Qing Dynasty !! Why must shave the Fucking HEADS !!

  • Japan should conquer China once again!

  • 2:04 FFFUUUUUUUUU-

  • Comment removed

  • Is it just me or is Jackie dubbed? How good is his Mandarin anyway?

  • @Sanzo84 It seemed like half the movie he was dubbed and then all of a sudden HEY Jackies real voice

    ???

  • cant find subs for this movie anywhere

  • WHERE ARE the POWER ARMORS!!!!

  • jackie with guns...EPIC

  • A SUB IN ENGLISH PLZ???

  • Thumbs up if piratepedia brought you here :D

  • @abhi5205 why not just tell the whole fucking world?! I bet people don't trust you with secrets lol.

  • Han had annexed Mongolia and Xinjiang. Tang was the most Imperialist. They annexed Dongbei, Mongolia, Xinjiang, Tibet. They were finally overstretched at the battle of Talas. Somewhere between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Ming had conquered Manchuria.

  • @Lordofthenipplerings the Ming lost to Manchuria.

  • @gotentk4 Ming had also controlled Manchuria. Nurhachi himself was a soldier in the Ming empire before declaring his own state.

  • who have watched this movie before?? and how was it??^^

  • civil war is the nastiest kind of war you can imagine.

  • this is like the continoueing of assassin and bodygaurds

  • gotta love chinese affinity with numbers cross referencing. 100th jackie chan film, 100th anniversary! PROVIDENCE! (or whatever the chinese equivalant to that word is...)

  • Long live the Republic of China! :D

  • the civil wars that came after this revolution were even more brutal

  • @victorhng: If you're talking about the Kuomingtang fighting Communist forces, then yes, I agree. I'm Chinese too (American Born) but I do know my history.

  • @joshcooldudeyeah yes. xinhai was nothing i mean qing was rotting from the core thru wars, internal struggles, foreign powers etc. After the revolution it seems to lead to even more fighting and bloodshed. Warlords carving their own turfs, Japs coming in, and ideology rivalry. xinhai was only the beginning. Wouldnt end until a few years after WWII finished.

  • @victorhng: Unfortunately, yes, that is all true. But every time I look back and begin to contemplate the scars of China's past (within the last century), the wounds run very deep and have divided our people across every political and socio-economic line possible at the time.

  • @victorhng But here's one of those bizarre paradoxes in modern Chinese history: if we were to remove all political boundaries (and hypothetically speaking, tearing down the wall that divides Kuomingtang and Communist), then maybe the Chinese people could unite again. I wouldn't know under what system, but from a cultural perspective, we Chinese are still Chinese no matter what. That's all I want to say about the topic.

What are your thoughts about it?

  • since China is so rich in military history they should make more movies about war but use more reputable actors from Hong Kong

  • Chinese take over Manchu rule?

Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, Song, Tang, Ming = Chinese states.

  • lol, Jackie acted the army of Republic of China but nor People's Republic of China?

  • @tn00777479 People's Republic was not established until 1949

  • @PenileFracture That's correct. The Republic of China controlled the mainland from 1911 until the loss to the Communists in 1949.

  • @joshcooldudeyeah it wasn't fully controlled

  • @gotentk4 I know but for the better part of China, the KMT tried to maintain their control of the Chinese mainland, but ultimately failed to do so since they experienced intense political corruption, a right-wing and left-wing split, fighting the Japanese (and later on, the growing Communist forces) during WWII and so on and so forth. There was so much rivalry and corruption it was hard for the KMT to continue maintaining their grasp of the mainland, which is precisely why they fled.

  • @PenileFracture thanks!, but yea, i know... what i was trying to say was that Jackie Chan always says that ROC in Taiwan is not a country, and he is so proud of People's Republic of China

  • @tn00777479 Taiwan may not be an official country (at least not yet), but I agree it's NOT a part of mainland China. It should be the other way around. The ROC flew the flag over the mainland but we can only and pray the PRC doesn't fly their flag over Taiwan.

I'm Taiwanese with mainland Chinese roots so I do stand strongly on this issue. :)

  • I think jackie chans son was going to appear in this movie too

  • 我們應該要檢討的是: 辛亥革命推翻滿清已經100年了, 為何中國的問題依然存在? 然地制已被推翻, 但專制卻以共和國的外衣繼續存在著. We must think: The Revolution had been passed for 100 years(a century) but an autocratic government remains.

  • Doesn't sound Jackie's voice...

  • @mvang01 Japanese voice actor.

  • Wow!!! Hopefully this will run in North America In it's original language subtitled of course!!!

  • not many people know this, but Sun Yat-sen was a Triad

  • Qing dynasty is ugliest dynasty!!! I hate Qing dynasty!!! Tang and Song are the best!!

  • @Killer211314 we chinese are known as Han People, because the peak of Chinese known to historian are Han(汉人) and Tang dynasty(唐人). Song is one of the most corrupted dynasty, an imperial court full of official made up of corrupted officials (文武百官,贪污受贿,官官相护). Qing dynasty are tribal people, more incline to horse riding and fighting. Earlier emperor are strong because they know who to use, and what to do. . Qing fell weak when CiXi that take over whole court and mistreat whole of China population.

  • @Killer211314 Han all the way :P

  • @Killer211314 FOR FUCKS SAKE THIS IS ABOUT A MOVIE

  • @Killer211314

Don't forget Han Dynasty there champ.

  • but they did acquire a majority of china's modern land?

  • @Killer211314 Dear friend, I must disagree. Only the Qing Dynasty end, especially under empress Cixi was bad. You forget that Emepror Kangxi legitimately annexed Tibet, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Xingjiang areas under his rule. (Recognized by Western powers) Han, Tang, and Song never accomplished that. Yuan briefly did, but then were pushed North. Just my opinion.

  • @Killer211314 fucking manchus. china belongs to the han!

  • @ervin920 china belongs to chinese. DUH

  • @Killer211314 Qing dynasty is not all that bad tho in their 2/3rd of their lifespan. if not they won't last till 200+ years.

  • @tdzheng every dynasty is good when they were built. But Qing dynasty rulers are so stupid, I can't stand them. especially the B!tch Cixi.

  • @Killer211314 there are quite a lot of idiots like cixi in past dynasties like cixi that caused the empire to collapse.

well gotta credit that b!tch for holding the crumbling empire up to 1912 lol. as i know in cixi's time, qing dynasty was already in deep shit!

well if wanna blame qing dynasty you should blame wanli emperor of ming dynasty(1572-1620) for not attending to his duty for 20yrs, and being more corrupted than cixi ever was that brought down ming dynasty in 1640.

  • @Killer211314 If not Tang Dynasty , They'll be no Japan and Korea .

  • 封建是没了, 专制还在

  • i don't like watching war movies/drama but because Hu Ge is in it i'll give it a try

  • GOOD LOGO!!

  • Qing dynasty, not Ming dynasty.

  • @linbj2008 Yeah really. You would think they would know better than to make this kind of mistake.
