if you have mining as one of your profs, should you bother smelting the ore, or just sell the stacks of ore, i have always smelted into bars and then sold them as stacks but i have always wondered do you make more if you sell the ore..just wondering thanks..great video series it was very informative

@b78venom depends on the ore. you need to check the prices of both ore and smelted on your server. Generally speaking, I think it's better to leave it in ore form...b/c this way you can sell to JCs, in addition to BS / ENG (even if they have to smelt it themselves)

im wondering.... since im rly new and i only have a lvl 26.... sHOULd i be worrying about making tons of gold now? i got rly lucky and a random person traded me 350g right when i started the game and now im rly worried about wasting it.... so should i get to lvl 80 before i start gold stressing?

Yes, get to lvl 80 before you think about gold farming

my advice though is dont buy items off the AH and to sell all the cloth you find doing quests *unless you use it for first aid or tailoring* on the AH, check the prices of the cloth and sell it for that. oh, and silk cloth is kinda worthless.

@OARfanatic you really cannot waste it. At this point your primary focus should be on leveling your character up, that's really where the game starts to get more entertaining. Though, gold is certainly a big part of the game, so learning how to properly make gold is a definite must...better to learn the correct way early on in your career than wasting tons of time.

im a 80 dk, with 450 minning and 450 skinning

ive had a break from wow on like.. ½ year, so i dont know how to make moneys anymore.. and im kinda broke :(

Thanx, great tips man, it helped me a lot,

started with 70g as it's was an average what i would have, now my average sum is 2200g in just three days and growing, Epic mount here I come ^.^.

i must add most items now people in game contact me directly to gets mats as I do mining, and even enchanters cuz i do a lot of dailies and get all green items DE.

I must add that I do link of epic items i could make and have the mats for helped a lot ^.^

The only thing missing from this series is AH saturation. Learn how much and when to place items in the Auction House. This is trial and error until you learn it well and again every server is different. My server tends to undercut no matter what. If "runecloth" is selling for 7g per stack then give it a day maybe two and there will be 150 stacks for under a gold. It's so easy to buy cheap on my server but selling high without wasting deposit is the trick.

These tips are pretty much on target. The biggest problem I had was just planning and doing it. When you look at the task ahead, it seems overwhelming and therefore you keep looking for the easy way when you could just get to it and have the gold you need. Figure out the mobs you can farm, or materials you can gather and just get to it. Start putting light amounts in the AH and soon you'll be actually seeing your target ahead.

ppl who know how to use auction house can spend their gold to get double so say you got 0g you do dailys and get 500g then spend it to buy stuff/ resel it and end with 800 then you spend that gold again and go farm again basicly thats how ppl gain good gold

this mini guide was great! believe it or not, i've made 1k gold in about a week. the dailies, power farming, and grinding really add up! not to mention playing the AH. i pretty much own the leather market on my server and its making me a killing. i got 400g in two hours from just rugged leather!
