Therefore, many cheetahs there have been recorded going as fast as 75mph. If they recorded those cheetahs in africa doing a 100m dash like in this video, with a running start they would be clocked at around 3 seconds for the 100m dash.

The Peregrine Falcom gets that 200+ mph speed when it "nose(beak)dives" to catch its prey and not while it's flying horizontally. Also, Sarah the Cheetah was also able to run around 35 mph. There have been a few cheetas on the African wild terrain that have been clocked going twice her speed. :-)
