  • did it loose alot of power with those 25

  • why would you put the same motor in it a raptor and a warrior have same engine yfm 350

  • nice quad! Uncle has one thinking about buying one myself. You should have made that cock sucker that backed up into pay for that fender damage! One think those front tires man, but your quad. good video overall

  • slow no matter what

  • They r the exact same motors every part will fit the same and I believe they also have the same type of model Buber on them. Also what kind of exhaust u running on there that warrior sounds nice!

  • nice bike man

  • hey do you think that the 2011 engine will fit in an 2003 warrior?

  • @369imfine probably

  • THE NEW RAPTORS HAVE THE SAME MOTORS AS WARRIORS

  • it must have some crazy torque

  • sounds like my brothers breeze

  • love it!!!

  • you know that its the raptor 350s and warriors are the same thing just different plastics

  • @teamnightmareSHJ actually the raptor has a more aggressive cam and more compression

  • waste of time..there pretty much the same engines

  • @mrlonely199 actually the raptor has a more aggressive cam and more compression

  • @quadracer1243 It's not much more though, it's not like it's a huge upgrade. Would of been cheaper to buy a new piston and more aggressive cam for the warrior engine and likely would of yielded better results, not to mention with the money saved you could of went stroker and so on.

  • @quadracer1243 no it doesnt it is the exact same engine

  • @nathanmeitzler no, it's not exactly the same. Different cam. Slightly more compression I believe. the engines pull a bit more than warrior engines. I also heard that 89-2012 warrior/raptor engines are also placed in the frame a bit further back than 87-88 engines. (they will fit each other though)

  • honestly i know that you are trying to keep the original tire look but it looks original yet for the aggressive look with the aggressive engine you should of got maxxis razr tires

  • @quadsnow. i went with the larger tires, because of ground clearance issues. i didnt care what they look like.

    travis

  • looks nice

  • That is a beautiful machine

  • @morepowernow16 i paid under 2000$ for a 400ex mint condition NOTHING wrong except one back hub which i replaced for 30$. 2000$ to restore a warrior is ridiculous, specially with plastics in that condition.. not trying to be a hater. I love warriors i have to say its my favorite all around quad even more then my 400ex and agile 200sx. But mine was in great shape 1989 warrior all blue with original engine just ripped apart and made to spec cost was under 200$.

  • i originally paid $600 for it, then paid $2000 for for all the brand new parts.and sold all of the old parts on ebay for close to $1200.

So i had $1400 in it, then New bigger tires + a few other parts. Maybe $1550 in it now.

The fender got cracked after i redid it all. besides i dont care what it looks like. It rides like a brand new quad.

    travis.

  • @morepowernow16 I'd have to say thats an amazing deal you made out of that rebuild then dude, I love warriors , cant wait till i find another in decent shape. The engines are identical right? Power wise. Im not looking for an increase really, just want to keep 6 gears as i ride 20+ mins on side roads to get to trails

  • nice frunt tires

  • @Insainem Front*

  • @morepowernow16 2000 ? ki bought my mint warrior 2001 for that price , u coulda bought a new machine .nice quad tho i like warriors over raptors cuz less mud spray

  • lol, you have rear tires for front????

  • @TheDeathpill I like it with big tires.

  • dude the raptor 350 is the warrior just diffrent name and plastics.

  • your warrior look good with this big tire =)

  • @morepowernow16 dude you could have bought a decent used quad for that much money like a 400ex or a z400 but i do have to say thats in pretty good shape for how old it is

  • What exhaust do you have?

  • stock 350 raptor exhaust with after market spark arrestor.

  • nice!!

  • i have a little raptor 80. we took my grandpas old tractor tire chains and put them on it in the winter. before we started using them i couldnt get any traction at all in snow and now it can go through some pretty deep snow without trouble.i even took it out on the lake this winter. THEY ARE AWESOME!

  • i got the same quad but mine is a 1994 i think with the same plastics

  • crazy wide ass front tires on that thing. Sign up on yfm350(.)com for all you rappy350 and warrior needs!

  • they are the same motor but why would you not ride the raptor

  • cuz raptors look gay, yamaha tried to make it look mean or sumthin but failed horribly.

  • @hiphopprevltion- Are you kidding me, raptors look bad ass as hell.

  • a 350 raptor and a 350 warrior are the same except the plastics true but why did u change it? i mean unless the warrior's engine was fuckd i don't know why you should had changed it O.o bwt nice warrior it looks awesome

  • the original engine ran great, just had alot of hours on it and was getting noisy.

  • oh okay happy x-mas btw

  • how much did the 350 engine cost because i blew my engine and i want to buy a whole new one

  • @Jaqueraz + 5 hp must be quite a difference

  • Lol the raptor 350 is the same exept plastics and head. Ik my ferinds 01 was made into a rappy when he rebuit it.

  • you should make the red gray it will look cleaner

  • bike looks amazing

  • are those chains on the back wheels

  • yes i made them.

  • mine was a 98 stock it ran 64 dg full exhaust k&n and an outerwear with holes in the lid it ran 70

  • its still the same engine as the warrior. they just put different plastic and changed some of the dimmensions on it and called it a raptor 350. i like the way the warrior looks better myself.

  • they changed the header to give it more torque

  • does it run faster with the raptor motor

  • its just a little faster. im using the full raptor exhaust, with an aftermarket spark arrestor , im using the raptor carb that i jetted and the complete raptor air intake box that i modified to fit. it was very close. + the K&N filter.

  • How much faster is it, if any, from the stock motor?

  • nice warrior ..very nice ..sounds great..wanna sell??

  • every warrior i've ridden has a 6 speed trans even the 87 one

  • nice, what if i were to throw on a 660 raptor engine in a 2001 warrior, or any other raptor engine???thank you.

  • not sure if a 660 would bolt right in, but you can try. the 350 will fit.

  • the 660 is alot taller than the 350. thats why the raptors sit so high from factory. the 700s r worse lol. still alot of power and fun tho

  • a raptor 350 motor is a just a newer warrior motor....

  • i have a 2001 warrior and i want to put a 2004 warrior engine...would it fit

  • of course it will fit.

  • i got a 95 warrior do you think if i buy an 02 engine will be all good. i just spent 1 thousand on this pig new cdi, stater blah blah blah. please help. what would u do?

  • it should fit, but your electrical connectors for the stator and stuff wouldnt fit unless you used your 95 electical parts

  • psh you dont need chains... my tired are almost bald and i was going all over the place in the snow today

  • with the chains i can go up a 30 to 40 degree hill with 8 inches of snow on the ground. and without them i cant.

  • that's exactly what I want to do some day soon get an older warrior and put a raptor 350 motor in it (then modify the carb and stuff of course)
