So, like Rats of Nimh with an R rating. As in, my school board would have been shut down for allowing us to read it in third grade. :p

I remember this show clearly when it was on Cartoon Network back in 1996. My sisters wouldn't let me stay in their room to watch it. They had cable in their room and I didn't in mine. I got a chance to watch it a few times but thanks to YouTube I can see what I missed.

Everyone was heavily into the "Simpsons" and this was one of the many shows who competed with them; though this was more adult (sexual references, so on). I remember seeing squishy dolls they made of the characters in toy stores!

I'm an animation student in high school, an I can tell that I haven't seen this show but now I want to. Most cartoons on tv now focus on idiotcy instead of plot and characters. but this isn't the first period of bad cartoons being dominant, the 1970's-late 80's were ruled by crap, by good shows were hidden inbetween. So I have no doubt that there will plenty of good cartoons (and bad ones) in the future. It's like Filmbrain said, " It's the good films we remember not the bad."

I remember this cartoon. I remember the episode where the cat killed one of the mice and then the other mice got a gun and they were going to shoot the cat or something. Trying to shove liberal points of view down children's throats! Actaully, this was a prime time cartoon - released about the same time as Family Dog and Fish Police - aimed at adults I believe.

this is just like Fievels American Tales in Lots of ways Same age (Both from 1992) Same Style of Intro (Instumente). Same Style of Show Mice living underneath the Human World and Fievel and Max of Simular Characters. :D
