So, after Miyuki is reported missing, she ends up running from the room when she hears the room. She changed her appearance thinking it would help hide her, and went back (home) to Chicago, not knowing she brought back the curse until everything happened. That's how the curse spread.

Scary as shit, but I don't think it should end in the same way as the first part. I like this ending better than the actual one (though a bit too Americanised too), but when I saw that kid opening a door of a room in which someone hung himself I thought 'this is where the ending should be'. Instead of just scares all the time it would have left a bit of story for the viewer to guess. I would have wanted to see a slow close up to that person hung there or anything.
