  • It really is up to the people who live in that region to decide what they want for their future. If they're like other people, they will choose environmental destruction, the poisoning of their land and water, and a future of starvation and servitude for their children. Who knows, maybe they have gold deposits so that they can have hundreds of thousands of tons of rock dug up and soaked in cyanide.
