Just watching this video over and over again and I am sick to my stomach. Cape Town's beauty is beyond anything I have ever seen. I miss my mountains - and you showed each one to it's most glorious. Table Mountain - Oh I can tell you stories of life throughout the years as I lived and grew in the mountain's bowl. 10 years in Namibia, but my heart brought me back to Cape Town and even now, I want to go home - back to the seas and the mountains and the land and even the people.

@riaan101 As an American I can say that I don't mind retiring in South Africa. The US Dollar goes a long way. Also, I think the quality of life is better for children. By the time a South African teenager reaches 18 he can hunt, fish, grow his own garden, and be self sufficient and independent. Here in America, everything is handed to us and we are bombarded with materialism and consumerism. You can leave and let an American take your place.

If you miss it so much why not go back, i moved to uk a year ago and honestly, i feel i was better off in SA, there is so much negativity about home but in actual fact, things are still ok back home and still quite a few jobs around, no piont in living abroad and being unhappy, GO HOME :-)

I was wondering, what is the main reason for South Africans that have emigrated to the UK, Aus, NZ even the NL (like my dentist)? Is it the lack of jobs, the crime, or something else? I'm loving this video, something us lot still living in the country should be proud of and fight for and those of us living abroad should cherish and not be ashamed to admit where they come from. So our government is corrupt and things are not looking bright and sunny for the future one should always remember to be proud of their heritage. Patriotism has never been a bad thing!!!
