I use to love playing this when combined with Sonic 3. Getting the super chaos emeralds and getting the extra last stage Doomsday was always awesome.

Why doesn't the new Sonic games come with using Super form within the stages? Its only at the end during the big boss you can only use it. :(

i think there a bug with VC Version for the gold emerald stage 1,can you try it ??

enter lvl select and put song at 07 then hold a + press start on special stage 1

Wile your playing sonic and knuckles and you pres minus you can lock on the game if you have sonic 2 or 3 in your library. I'm not sure if you can play blue sphere with sonic 1.

@it4040 No, it's a real Wii. Those "back up channels" you saw, are from the SD card menu.

the super sonic you are refering to when you get all the emeralds thats 7 from sonic 3 and 7 from sonic and knucles when you play sonic and knucles and sonic 3 together was called hyper sonic you also had hyper knuckles and super tails
