I believe it's dropped a bit. A majority of the reasons why some popular artists on Nico Nico Douga is so people won't recognize them, or stalk them. A few artists on NND actually removed all of their videos and such, due to stalkers. :x One of them who had to remove everything was Faneru. D: He was very popular, due to his aibou, Gero. Their videos are so funny :D
