I am an Irish dancer, and watching this makes me so sad to see how Irish dance has evolved. The grace, the elegance and the pure musicality of this performance makes me wish that I had learned Irish dance in the 1980s. This is when the dance was about rhythm and before Irish dancers tried to pound out their beats or before the back beat became the only emphasized beat. This video is utterly magical.

@theirshdame too much grace here. all jean ever does is skirt around, flirt with dancing a bit and then spin around slide. there's a reason she never looks exhausted at the end of her routines: she's not doing much!
