  • hey exo, i may have found some other stuff thats an even better deal than "peel & seal". All i can find for pricing on peel & seal is about 100 bucks for 100sq ft. My local hardware store has some stuff i am going to look at tomorrow that is the same thing for $33 for 100sq ft. I post again if it looks like it will work,

  • @ecoots - Is it Owens Corning?

  • @EXOabigdeal I didn't catch the brand name today but they gave me a 3' x 4" strip to test. I measured it and its 1.5mm thick. I figure that is about 60mil thickness. I feels nice and ply-able and has a bit of weight to it. I work 12 hour days at my job and this is my weekend. i bought a heat gun and roller and monday i will pull a door panel and try it out.

  • @ecoots - Nice man, let us know how it goes!

  • @EXOabigdeal I put some on my door today. It's a little tacky after it cools but i can throw some plastic film over it to protect my panel. The stuff has a texture. It tries to tear if i force it into some spots. I think that's my fault, i tried push the center of a piece into a recess and should have used the edge. ive only partially covered the drivers side outer door skin and some of the inner door skin and i can tell a difference. My passenger door rattles but My drivers door does not.

  • @ecoots I found out if i by 2 square of it, 200 sqft i can get it for 58 dollars. There isnt much smell either.

  • @ecoots - Awesome bro!

  • Nice!

  • @Basslife21 - Thanks mang - Anything to save that cash!

  • All of its works just alot of ppl dont put it on right

  • @poweracoustik267 - Very true.

  • Comment removed

  • @EXOabigdeal Ummm once you stick it it dont come off without a fight

  • @bigdog813 - You can say that again!

  • Put some in my trunk just now, Wasnt peel and seal exactly, but was another brand at lowes. the difference is day and night, put in 2 layers and it helped drastically. Thanks so much dude!

  • @drdollas - Good going! Safe That CASH!

  • How well do u think it would hold up in phoenix where the temp in a car goes over 110 degrees during the summer I think avg car temp in PHX is about 130-140 degrees during the summer

  • @HomermyHerro - Not sure, I think it may help it stick better if anything.

  • Your video is a favorite on Andorra la Vella

  • @llenbridges11a - What's that?

  • Def going to try this out cause my car rattles bad my trunk is ridiculous hell my door handle on my driver side rattles smh.. with only 1500rms im make a Before an after VIDEO so people could see exactly how good it works or if its not worth the money will update an post the video on here@EXO i will send a video response when i do this,,,, maybe tomorrow if i have time when im off work if not tomorrow then saturday!!

  • @rastastoner420 - Damn near got probed lol

  • dude....you rock, thanks for reviewing all the products for us!! :D

  • @spittinwaves - No prob man!

  • This video is a favorite on Wellington

  • @antwankinney1231 - on Wellington?

  • ok first off, this was ment for roofing, so dudes, it aint gonna melt off, do you guys know how hot it gets in an atic so it needs to withstand that, and second dynamat, like EXO said, is just like peel and seal and vise versa. i'm not sure what other point to make on the "tar" scent, but EXO said flawless, no scent, so yea (i'ma get peel and seal)

  • @5usaO How can you say peel and seal is like SS/SDS/Cascade/Raamat etc if you never tried them? If all you need to stop vibrations is a little foil on a butyl/rubber mat then I think people would just be buying thick rubber door mats and coating it with foil. Vibration damping has more to it then adding weight to lower fs. Just go to sounddeadenershowdown and read up on it. Also there's no way an attic thats surrounded by an insulator like wood will ever get as hot as the metal oven your car is.

  • EXO ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE HELPED ME AND MY CAR"S AUDIO.

  • @EXOabigdeal Thanx from me and my friend

  • @Russla300 - :D

  • 1:05 "I gotta cry a little bit!"

  • @caraudioman16 - Hurt like a mutha!

  • Sorry brother but i had to laugh when the door anchor stabbed you in the... part. Anyway, thanks for the review and did you use a heat gun for your install of the P&S?

  • LMAO, I almost pee'd myself at 1:00. Lol, sorry, that sucks.

  • thanks for the video and info, going to try this in my dodge ram 1500, too bad i already put all the panels back lol! what would you say the negatives are? every product has them. thanks

  • yo man i gotta 96 pontiac with a system in it

i got two 12in puch with an xplore amp of 1000watts

man i gotta ask u why when i turn it up my stereo goes to protect?

and is there somethin i can buy to make it louder?

    hit me bakk up bro

  • @bazr100 - Sounds like a wiring issue!

  • @EXOabigdeal or your gains are set way too high

  • @mike240se - What? This video doesn't show anything about my gains...

  • @bazr100 you got the wrong ohm load on the amp.

  • @bazr100 if your stereo goes into protect or Safety mode. check your ground and power on.. and also your Power wire might not be big enough for the amp.. your probably running like a 2-4 gauge wire right? go buy yourself a 0 gauge chunk of a welding cable. use that for a power wire and ground wire.. i use it and i run 3000watts in my mx-3. also check your Amp gain's on your deck. if you got them set to High, try mid and low. see if it stops the kick out. good luck!

  • @bazr100 sounds like you either have your subs wired at a lower impedance than your amplifier can handle or you have a defective amp. it also could be a bad ground, but thats unlikely. check the impedance on your subs and make sure you don't have them wired down to less than your amp can handle. about half of amps can handle down to 2 ohms and the other half will handle down to 1 ohm. its probably not the gain. all that would do is make your subs distort/clip.

  • Man uk ur stuff i hsve some low end speakers i wana upgrade to 2 cvx kicker 1500 watt run wit 2 smps wat do u think?

  • does this involve a heat gun to install?

  • @scottster121 no heat gun needed, just stick it on

  • @scottster121 Peel And Seal

  • just got back from lowes and installing peel and seal, used 4 rolls 6inch by 25foot it was 14 bucks a roll, but i did my whole trunk and both doors of my 2000 celica and wow what a deference it made, night and day ,the front door speakers came alive and my subwoofer sounds like a whole new speaker, great stuff works well, thanks for the info

  • Hey I'm thinking about getting this stuff...2 questions in the mean time is that does it make it louder inside and will one roll do the job for the trunk...thNks

  • I used a butyl rubber flashing tape from Home Depot. 75 ft for $22. You have to use foil tape though because it isn't foil faced. I used 2 layers on my trunk. Worked great. And no tar smell. Its called Nashua Select Flashing.

  • @fartingrobots I used the same stuff in my computer case with CCF on top of it. I've been meaning to use it on my car but never bothered doing so. How did you apply the 2 layers exactly? tape/tape/foil or tape/foil/tape/foil?

  • Hey exo so would you recommend me to put peel&seal on my 99 yukon door panels??

  • i live in south east texas sticks just fine and the smell goes away in a couple days

  • Ha that must of hurt like the dickens!!! Haha. Jk Waz up man !! I have to show u my creation! Its not in a car. Or vehicle. but it still car audio.it sounds....stupid...in a go way.

  • Hell yea i'm in the middle of my build right now and i went today and got some of that stuff its damn good lol thanks for helping me save $100 bro

  • thanks for the post.

what cleaning solution do you recommend to wipe down the surface prior to installation of peel and seal?

  • Wait, I missed that, what did that little petrusion go up?

  • Thanks EXO been scouting the net for sound deadener and you pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Dynamat in my opinion its the same stuff.

  • Thanks EXO been scouting the net for sound deadener and you pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Dynamat in my opinion it the same stuff.

  • Cool vid. I just bought the stuff now it's time to install

  • Does any one know a alternative to polly fill?

  • i coudnt stop laughing hahahahahah @ 00:59

  • So if i install this in my jeep will the smell piss my wife off..

  • Thanks for the video,i"am totally convinced going to Lowes to buy me a roll ,thanks again.

  • @EXOabigdeal haha im gunna buy this stuff and put dynamat stickers all over it so it looks legit ahaha low on cash just improvise haha

  • anybody down south ever use this 'peel & seal'?? i know for a fact Maine and Alabama are 2 completely different climates. We got bad heat & humidity pretty much year round these days. id like an opinion b4 i permanently 'seal' my car

  • i used peel n seal in my beater truck, it smelled pretty bad for 1 day, then the smell went away..never smelled it again in any weather.

  • BIG BLACK DOT TO THE LEFT OF HIS HEAD 1:19

  • you can us title seal its 14 bucks and works the same 9 x 33 feet and doesnt smell just installed it works badass TITE SEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • idk why ppl think the stuffs gonna come off from weather...its made for roofing......

  • @midnightnavyz28 i just bought some and im installing it today!!! I'm making progress vids too. =]

  • I just bought flashing tape from Lowes. The brand is "TITE SEAL" it was located next to the "Peel And Seal" rolls. It measures 9" by 33' and it cost me $12.70 with a 10% military discount. The smell is VERY faint compared to what I was expecting when reading that is smells like tar. I will be installing this inside my Dodge Dakota very shorly and I will record a video of the before and after test to show yall how it turns out. This will hopfully reduce road noise and rattling from small subs.

  • @bacaboi I just bought the tite seal also and maybe intalling it this weekend tell me if yours works please.

  • i use window weather tape the shit framers use around windows i think its basically the same stuff its about $25 a roll and does the job just fine

  • "I gotta pause the tape so I can cry a little" lol the dangers of car audio!

  • Comment removed

  • fatmat xtreme

  • you know what i was just thinking. This stuff is going to go up on price due to the fact that more and more people are using it for other things than roofs. Car Audio this shit might shoot up to the price of dynamat and all the other stuff there is out there

  • in just got done putting that stuff in my car and its amazing at how much of a difference it makes. i dont have a bad ass system or anything but even for aftermarket speakers it makes them sound even better!!!

  • i dont get it :S where am i suppose to apply this material to just the holes on the trunk door or all of the trunk door??

  • He Got Robbed A While Back By Some Schmuck From YOUTUBE!!! Why Would He Want To Show The Same Arseholes His New Gear If He Got It? You Can Look Through His Vids And See What He Had Stolen..... Be Nice If Was Back, He Needs To Shoot His Vide In The Garage And Not In His Driveway..... :(

  • exo hasnt had a video in soo long it isnt funny any more

waiting to see his van come up

  • Peel and Seal does the job and does it good. I've had some in my van for 4 years and it just started coming off around the corners. Another product you can try is Protect-O-Wrap. Same as PnS, maybe a little thicker.

Keep up the good vids Exo.

  • That was funny stuff backing into that there protrusion or mini wiennie.

  • Nice Vid man....seriously. Hey, I'm an old school northeastern guy myself - NH actually. I"d like to talk sometime if you don't mind....even email if you want.........take care bro, Chris

  • exo your the SHIT! i was just about to buy some dynomat and wanted to do a little research on what people say i got the peel and seal right after watching this lol thanks so much man!! keep posting!

  • Such a great video. I am currently awaiting to do my trunk. I refuse to buy Dynamat and I was curious about the quality of Peel and Seal. Although I was told that you should heat it and then use a roller on it. Any comments or tricks you use specifically? PM me if you have the time.

    Greatly appreciated.

    Thumbs up.

  • hold up did it go up ur ass lmao

  • Alright...this stuff sounds promising. Question..I can get dynamat extreme trunk kits for around $50.00. In your honest opinion which should I use? This stuff is still cheaper even at $50.00 per trunk kit by almost half. Is it as good as dynamat or just a cheaper version that's not quite as good?

  • Awesome video man. Will definitely use!!!

  • EXO!!! CMON MAN ITS SEPTEMBER!!!!!! WHEN IS UR VIDEO COMING UP IM MAD!! IM SURE MANY PEOPLE ARE!!!! AHHHHHHHH

  • when are we going to get an update???

  • @steriosystem87 pretty soon, hes been makin alot of videos, just not uploading them

  • i was just thinking if u dont care having peel and seal all over the car what if u spray on the rubber paint all over if that would work it is like a thick paint that has pieces of rubber in it that should help out and it dose not look bad if u do it right

  • @chgammer911 yeah they use that on enclosures, personally it would make the car smell bad for a while, imo

  • i was just thinking if u dont care having peel and seal all over the car what if u spray on the rubber paint all over if that would work it is like a thick paint that has pieces of rubber in it that should help out and it dose not look bad if u do it right

  • does it get sticky when it gets really hot kinda like what duct tape does

  • yea right i just picked some up the other day

  • They dont sell that shit no more, ive tried every lowes by my house

  • hey man, jus wondering if ur guna put any more vids on any of your 2 channels? its been a while since you have;(

  • So i just put this stuff in and it worked really well. But if i wanna sell my car how do i take it off? It seems like its on their really well

  • i read that peel and seal isnt a good quality deadener because its mostly asphalt. and it cracks up or something....

  • nice video man. exactly what i was lookin for.

  • this is random but how do you hook up rcas when theres only 2 outputs for r and l ? what do i do ? got a rockford amp and cant afford a new deck at the time . i mean 4 total out puts , 2 r's and 2 l's

  • @Metaliica474921 go to Ebay, look up RCA splitter, or Y's, Unless you have some funds to pickup an EQ or Crossover. Pawn shops are a pretty good place to pickup such things.

EXO where did ya go? You Hiding in Canada or something? Or did you find yourself a CUTE YOUTUBE Stalker? I wanna see that Wall already!

  • where can i buy peel and seal i looked at lowes and i cant find it

  • sup man i live in biddeford and i drive by your house twice a day. i see you have been workin on your wall. when your done i would like to take a listen.

  • Getting really sick of people on forums and shit saying how it doesnt stick and smells. Its pathetic and they have never even used it. There taking guess's. I put this stuff on alonggg time ago and its still holding up like superglue and it doesnt smell one bit in 90 degree weather

  • hey can u tell me where to buy this at.. cuz im looking for something cheap to go in my accord to deaden the ratteling in my trunk where my 2 10s r

  • Hey EXO..its been over a month now since u've reviewed P&S and im wondering if u still backup P&S like u did a month ago??

  • lol HOld on i Gotta cry a lil Bit!!! and split the tape and it went up your??? :) probably cried for 2 hours lol lol lol

  • so when i go to lowes what do i tell them i'm looking for?

  • I got some yesterday, finally. I think its cool that you have all the other stuff, cause u can actually compare it.

  • exo..when using that stuff, would it work better if you doubled up the layers? like how thick is peel n seal vs fatmat / dynamat

  • oww!!! DAMNIT!! that little petrution when up my ....

  • @Mrcastona lol "ok i might split the tape, hold on i gotta cry a lil bit"

  • EXO, do you put place any device(s) behind the speakers to absorb/deflect sound? Looks like a few companies sell these products. Thx!

  • mine was good for a while then it shook loose

  • Some one told me

    U can aldo use foem

  • lowes

  • dude i bought some it is great thanks for the advice

  • Where can i get some of that stuff at????

  • Where do you get it bro? In another video you were talking about some noise damping that you could get for around $80 dollars for 100 sq ft is this the same stuff? Love your vids your very helpful bro! Thanx...

  • I just got 2010 ford fusion off the showroom floor, and got the double din touch screen gps with 2 alpine type r 12s with 2000 monoblock amp will post video tomorrow 4 u to check out

  • Its meant for home roofing. Why would temperatures mess it up? Its under a layer of black shingles, the black would heat it up even more, so its not going anywhere.

  • yea this stuff is awsome. used it in my cay cause i was getting crazy bad ratles. you saved me from spending 250 bucks on dynamat so i spent 40 bucks on this stuff and it works just as good or even beter than dynamat.

  • ive used peal and seal in 3 of my builds, never falls off, or anything, i use multiple layers and it always works

  • EXO you're a BEAST, i'm def picking up some of that stuff. yeah dynamat is awesome stuff too but just too expensive even at half the price. dont forget to put a piece of the peel and seal on your license plate guys!

  • @bingbong609 lol ture that

  • I'm goin to have to go and get me some of this I need it for my trunk roof and doors

  • i like ur vids n bass n evrything....ecceeeeeeeeeepttt ffforrrrrrrrrr the car. its crap. but stil part from that evrything is awesome:D haha cant w8 for more uploads

  • LMFAOOOOOOOO, i loled when you ran into the door!

  • I used peal and seal on my trunk, I put 3 layers and there is a difference. it's about 65% quieter.

  • I used peal and seal on my trunk of my CAR!!! in south carolina where it gets really hot and humid not a problem at all!!

  • 1:00 LOL I hate when that happens to me too at times. But great review about Peel and Seal. I'm definitely going to recommend it to my friend when he does his install this summer. Keep up the great work EXO! Can't wait to see some more updates on the van.

  • are u without bass while u r doin this man? haha

ur shag wagon is lookin pretty slick there too nice job

  • i dont know what the hell people are talking about the " bad and horrible smells" lol i got peel and seal all over my car and i mean everywere , floor doors, headliner and it sits outside all day in the sun and windows closed and i dont smell one bit of anything

  • trust me i put this stuff in my car after the first video and it looks great but it smells horrible! and i mean horrible its not to bad on cooler days but on a hot day when i get off work and get in my car it smells like asphault bad.......but it works great cut down on vibrations alot (not all vibrations are gone) but its not bad for how cheap it is....BUT IT STINKS LOL!!!! IT REALLY DOES!

  • Hey EXo thanks for the cheap alternative!

  • i had peel n seel in my truck for about a month and i live in Arizona were it gets hot ass hell like today and it has no smell and has not peeled off and it works really good.

  • hell yea i got some after ur first vid helped my friend stack it up in his scion tc and it works amazing. i wana hump it and make love to it lol. good stuff for real and the thing was he already had dynamat and peel and seal seems to work exactly the same

  • peel and seal is a heating and cooling product and a roofing product it isn't gonna fall off....i've had dynamat...and that shit is just garbage to me...

  • 6am?? Wow you're a morning person! lol

  • WEAR A GLOVE! I cut myself nasty on the stuff, doing all doors floors and back hatch on my car, worth every penny, also custom did steel plates over large openings with rivets and caulk

  • I use peel and seal also. got half the trunk lid done and am finishing the other half of the trunk and played music super hard it works like a pro. Peel and Seal with only fall off if you do not clean the surface, and i do not notice any smell from the stuff either. its amazing for the price.

  • Thats the stuff i want to get for my Jeep! Thanks for reviewing it!

  • hey exo i used the peel and seal inside and on the undercarraige of my truck even with the heat of the exhaust and the other extreme conditions the underside of ur vehicle faces its still holding up not one spot is peeling off i cant even get it off if i tried. this product holds up and works

  • I really hope Peel and Seal ends up being all it seems to be, and the coming weeks will really show. The hundreds of dollars saved per install would be a bonus to better sounding rides.

But I must say, this isn't the best endurance test of the material. It was snowing the day before, and it was only 6am. Not enough time to warm things up. We need a few 75 - 80+ temperature days to see how well it really holds up on vertical, IMO. From the looks of it, I believe it will work.

    Thanks EXO!

  • Peel and Seal looks like it works like a charm. I went to lowes but they didnt have it :( so i went with some window flashing 16 dollars for 25 SQ FT!!!!! Hude deal put it in my wagovan with my 15s on 2000 watts and my roof doesnt have the slightest sound anymore i love it. Love the vids Exo saving people alot of money hell saved me like 100 dollars on deadening!!!

  • @streetracerss its not 25 sq ft its only 12.5. atleased the stuff i bought was 25 ft by 6 in.

  • @billiambarnett O i know peel and seal is 12.5 Sq ft mine was 6 inches by 50 foot i bought 2 rolls but only used one i got 100 SQ ft for 32 bucks try that with any car audio sound deadening right?

  • nice vid

  • Don't listen to haters!!!!

  • im a roofer and think about this it dont matter hot or cold its not coming off the roof so why would it peel off a car or truck?

  • do you have a job or an education?

  • @twankedls no he gets his shit for free duh

  • and if you heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun it gets super sticky and will stick to you i found when you heat it up like that you can smell it a lil and it smells like asphalt but once its on no more smell

  • i have peel nd seal. i have not have had a problem with it. as he said there is no smell or anything works great only 12 bucks a foot. not bad. i live in cali nd it get hot up here.. been on my truck for about 2 years now nothing wrong with it!

  • well heres a question how hot was it? cuz i believe u live in maine? its not as hot up there as it is here in NC, so what can me and my friend ( pntbllbxr ) do about this?

  • Good stuff man, im about to get some good stick and peal lol and btw love the part when u got out of that van hahah 5*s always bro keep it up...
