  • Anyone know the full song?

  • I read the book, and I couldn't put it down. I read the book in 10 days. I like the 1950's; the music and everything. I think this is my all time favorite Stephen King book.

  • Dancing is life

  • Time travelers lie...A lot! I loved this book, the concept is so cool and the book delivers in so many ways. I hope they can produce a script and film with half as much heart.

  • one of the freatest books of all time 11/22/63

  • Finished it yesterday, and as seems the general consensus, I'm a bit gutted by the ending. Don't get me wrong, it is great in it's own poetic way, but bittersweet! Great book.

  • What's the name of this song? Anybody know would greatly appreciate it! Wonderful book recommend it to everyone, I've only read one fiction before this one and it has opened my mind to fiction in general!

  • I actually just got done reading this book like a couple minutes ago. Love the whole story, and I always wondered who that Yellow Card Man actually was

  • I'm reading it now and this is my first Stephen king read glad I bought it :D

  • What a great book! Drama, suspense, romance ... and history - all wrapped up into the best work of Stephen King's to date, in my opinion. I think anybody will enjoy this book, but if you're over 53-yrs-old,this book is going to REALLY hit home. I kept trying to figure out which path the action would take. There were so many possibilities! Also, one of the BEST "time travel" books I've ever read - which should appeal to any SciFi buff. Read it!

  • Best book ive ever read lol " i hate you chair" best line ever

  • Love this book.

  • Just finished! Once again I've fallen in love with the female character. Number 1 to me will always be mattie from bag of bones, but at the second place I put sadie!! The last two pages are so sad, jesus christ, it's so unfair!! The ultimate love story! How they danced! And the book is superbe! I love the time travelling stories and the paradox like back to the future 2! Certainly one of his (if not THE) masterpiece of his last period. Thank you stevie! Once more!

  • Jake/George & Sadie might be my all time new favorite couple. They were magical...and how they danced! <3

  • I love Stephen King. He even wrote to me personally in the early 80's on developing my 3rd eye. I hate to say it, but my favorite author has lost the "something special" that drew me to him as a writer/reader. I have also read his wife, Tabitha's novels and this nearly reads like her work. Thanks for your work in the past Stephen, but time to retire, I think.

  • i got this book for Christmas, when i started to read it, i got addictive to it, wow unbelievable i can't believe they shut down Al's diner due to illness, and i think i''m gonna like this book.

  • One of the best Stephen King books ever. The book takes you from page one til 873 non stop ! King writes as he was in the early years ! At his best. It is a book that you hope you can read without an end ! Master work !

  • i finished the book last night at 2 am and i don't think i was able to fall asleep until much, much later. the ending killed me.. i cried like a baby. read the last 1/2 page again a few hours ago and cried again. i truly hope king will mention sadie and jake in some other book, even if only in so much as 2 sentences, and how in another string they found each other again. goddammit, this book is nothing like i've ever read.

  • @katiekitten118 I wonder what Jake wrote on all those pages when he re-entered the "Rabbit Hole" for that last "reset".

  • I just finished it last night. my first king novel

  • Just finished it. Wow, what an emotionally draining book. Can't wait to see it on the big screen.

  • EVERYONE

    "FLAG"

STIFFIN THINGS FAGGOT FICTION BOOK IT IS A FRAUD SCAM TO COVER OVER SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

  • @inspectorcritic Calm down child, indoor voices, screaming gets you nowhere.

  • its at the top of my xmas list :D

  • shit trailer ..even for a book ...

  • @TechManatee Me too... I hope the movie doesn't glaze over it.

  • Jimla! Jimla!

  • @NitekMuscle Due! Due!

  • The song is ' goin fishing' ...... Difficult to find but not impossible .

  • Seriously, Song name?!?

  • I just finished this book yesterday. I am actually depressed. This book was so great. My first King novel, actually.

Once in a while you read a book that really does ruin your for other books. :[

  • @TechManatee I loved the entire Jodie, TX subplot.

  • @TechManatee i was at B&N today to buy a new book to read, and everything seemed uninteresting as hell. however, try "hearts in atlantis". it's partly also set in the 60s and is absolutely amazing. not as much as 11/22/63, but HIN was my number 1 king book, and is now definitely number 2.. which is still good. i hope stephen will start to write more stories set in the land of ago.. he's amazing at it.

  • "A Boy And His Dog" was another thing that used the idea of JFK being safe causing a nuclear world.

  • Are Thay making a movie about this?

  • @celticsarebest On August 12, 2011, well before the novel's release, it was announced that Jonathan Demme has attached himself to write, produce and direct a film adaptation of 11/22/63. King will serve as executive producer. Shooting should begin in the fall of 2012.

  • @celticsarebest Yeah, Gus Van Sant is slated to direct it.

  • Comment removed

  • Don't read his faggot fiction book! He has infringed upon my true memoir of JFK assassination by stealing key components from my manuscript when I went to solicit my book to numerous publishers. INFRINGEMENT COPYRIGHT VIOLATION!

  • @inspectorcritic YOu may be waiting a while to get your money, pal. "Saving JFK causes a nuclear war" is an idea that's been done so many times before that there were probably fanfics of the concept before the actual murder. Two examples: "Who Killed Kennedy" by David Bishop and Red Dwarf's Tikka To Ride. There are many many many others. King's emphatic belief that Oswald did it alone is about the only difference between his brick and the previous takes on this OLD CORNY idea.

  • @inspectorcritic fuck you

  • Always love stephens period work! No matter what time frame he writes about he can always make you feel like you were there and i was only born in the 80s!! The man is a genious who can create characters you'll either love or hate (intentionally so)! Cant wait for this book pre ordered it on kindle today!!

  • The Shining is my favorite book and movie. I especially like the 1900s 1920s, 1930s and 1940s ... I was 6 in 1963 so it is not that ancient to me ... LOL. Thanks for posting about his new book.

  • That's wonderful! LOVE Stephen King, can't wait to read that book and watch the movie :)

Is somebody out there knowing the name of the clip's song?
