  • Yea I would purposefully turn off the radio just in the hope I would catch this song...

  • Best Soundtrack!!!

  • Kind of has a haunting air to it but it fits with the wasteland theme.

  • loveeeeeeeeeee fallout best games ever!

  • omg<33333

I got that Fallout feeling now<3

  • This song is what makes Fallout.

  • this is also the song of Novac in New Vegas

  • great music for an even better game

  • A great game with a powerful and moody soundtrack. I love how the music can make a post-Apocalyptic dystopia like the world of Fallout seem so beautiful.

  • @MikeAtomSmasher It's almost as if the world is finally at peace with itself...

  • @PelemusMcSoy Exactly :)

  • The next Fallout would be epic with the same engine as Skyrim used.

  • Thumbs up if this Soundtrack play while your in enemy territory

  • Although the game is hell scary, the music is nice and calm

  • Fallout is the sort of game that had epic music on the radio but the music without the radio is just as amazing.

  • @DrFrohman You can do that. I am planning on doing it.

  • it sounds so different when you listen to it without the sound effects lol

  • Comment removed

  • Do some more! Whatever you can find.

  • this soundtrack reminds me of something else other than fallout... its so close and yett so fr... can figure out what it reminds me of... anyone else has that feeling?

  • fallout 3 was just one of those perfect games that felt distant but so close at the same time, a once and a lifetime game.

  • Seems so weird listening to this while playing skyrim...

  • Nobody is rushing to put the soundtrack up b/c it's not that great, relative to Elder Scrolls etc.

  • @aeopmusic You like the elder scrolls's soundtrack better? :p meh

  • I so want to see a piano cover of this

  • I love this fucking song everytime i play the game in the night time

  • im pretty sure if the world ever does end up like this everyone whos played Fallout will b prepared lol

  • @ARavingLooony Haha better start preparing xD

  • @ARavingLooony Sometimes, I feel like buying an AK47, stocking up on ammo, buying 40 24 packs of purified water and then digging a bunker 40 feet under the ground lined with lead. Then I realize that I can't be fucked to do that, but I still feel like it.

  • aint they doing a fallout mmo?

  • @Astronomy1996 Interplay was. Not anymore, though: they recently lost the rights to Bethesda.

  • @CabooseBE Curios, because the game (Fallout 1) was originaly from Interplay XD

  • @ColasTeam Beth bought the rights a while ago after Interplay went belly-up. At first they only had a license, but then they just plain-out bought the franchise.

  • @CabooseBE AWWWW YAH BETHESDA'S BACK BABY

  • 1:45 *slow panoramic view across the wasteland from a high vantage point*

its a wild world out there. humanity is faced with a new game and its time to play.

  • Music like this makes the game very immersive.

  • its real this piece is in the complete collection of fallout 3 a rare cd but i have original :D

    good apport!!!

  • @kometierra666 What do you mean: "It's real"?

  • @CabooseBE

I think he meant that this wasn't music from some other game, thrown in because it sounds similar, he just worded it badly.

  • @CabooseBE not a fake

  • @Ruezga95 No its not

  • @Ruezga95 Its fan made.

  • @Ruezga95 Not real. Fan made. Don't you think It would be announced at E3, or be in magazines? Or AT LEAST be known a year after it was announced? Don't fall for the lies broski.

  • @Ruezga95 Fake as fake can be.

  • @Ruezga95 I think Fallout 4 will be on the East Coast again, and we may get another West Coast spinoff. Could be wrong, though.

  • @CabooseBE fallout 4 is gonna be on the west coast, i saw somewhere while reading about fallout that its going to be in san francisco.

  • @RandomizationShow No its not.

  • @MrMoldy4 I thought Obsidian were just co-creators

  • @16HalfEatenSandwichs New Vegas was mainly created by Obsidian, Beth did some additional work but not all that much.

  • @CabooseBE Except, y'know, making the entire engine and a fair few of the textures which were recoloured and then put into New Vegas.

Bethesda didn't do much more than that.

  • @ToxicMadn3ss They're both by Bethesda...

  • @16HalfEatenSandwichs Not quite, New Vegas was developed by Obsidian, and published by Bethesda. Skyrim was both developed and published by Bethesda

  • Just imagine Fallout 4 San Diego California with Skyrim Graphics........Breath-taking...

  • @KylesNuclearFilms Chicago

  • @TheMysticSquire Chicago sucks.

  • @KylesNuclearFilms They already made fallout games there. Plus it would be full of NCR

  • I came to hear this spectacular track, and I knew there would be a couple of kids arguing with TES and Fallout on which is better

tbh they're both amazing game series, and I'd love to have both Skyrim and New Vegas content. Sucks that they're both being made by different developers.

  • epic game..i fell free when i am playing

  • Stop in the Name of the Overseer!

  • Fallout 4 WILL be in a city. Being in an empty wasteland can get repetative. Maybe like The Pitt but way bigger.

  • @KarikoEmpire34 I do hope it has some countryside/large areas. I personally liked the contrast between both in FO3 :) But I hear where you're coming from, and look at RAGE and Skyrim. If they're the Graphics Bethesda can pull of? I CANNOT wait.

  • @CSpannerz agreed, skyrim has pretty awesome graphics, and the new fallout is probably going to be even better! i hope it is back in the capital wasteland, or something similar, i wasn't to big a fan of Mojave wasteland

  • @Mo7Vsta Quite, quite. :) I only just got my hands on RAGE and apart for the low texture quality on objects, I am IMPRESSED ^^

Yeah sorry but I'll have to agree, Mojave was just too damn small, I liked the massiveness of the Capital Wasteland :)

  • How did you get this audio file?

  • @FlaKey511 Go to the Fallout 3 installation folder, then go to Data -> Music. =)

  • I love this game i had a save on my 360 for it at 350+ hours, which i no longer have as i sold the xbox. Got a nice gaming pc now though and already got 149 hours on F3 and 256 on F:NV. Brilliant series of games my all time favorite RPG series.

  • There's a reason why the Skyrim Commercials say from the makers of Fallout 3...

  • I always wanted to play this song (the piano part)

  • Thanks for uploading this. I love the songs on GNR but i also love the ambient music as well and it's hard to find.

  • Greetings wastelander!! I just want to say you, Congratulations, this music is awesome and the title you gave to it fits perfectly. No matter how many time I hear this song, I just don't get tired, it's beautiful. Cheers! and may the steel be with you :D

  • this game is one of the best games I have ever played, I loved wandering through the wasteland felt so survivaly and interesting. fallout nv was a fail lacked the wastelandy feel fallout 3 had.

  • @shiturcool its because it was alot more like fallout 2 . it even had som characters from there

  • Isn't this the same soundtrack in New Vegas when we are in Novac

  • Fallout 3 had a great atmosphere... but the lore and story was pretty terrible. New Vegas and the old Fallouts were better IMO.

  • I akinda like the Elder scrolls better than F3 and FNV, because when i play morrowind, oblivion and skyrim they feel more like an RPG, but F3 and FNV feel like a shooter adventure game. I still really enjoy playing F3 though but FNV it feels like a fail, the feeling of the game doesnt feel as hostile as F3, it seems to easy to survive in FNV. even on hardcore it doesnt feel that realistic. In Fallout3 you acctually get attached to the characters, the game makes you feel like you know them.

  • I hope the next game is just as unique as this one, they truly did make an astonishing game

  • i hope the next Fallout will use the same engine as Skyrim did.

  • @Astronomy1996 trust me dude it will haha

  • As awesome as skyrim is, I just don't get the same amount of enjoyment out of it as I do with the post apocalyptic setting of F3 and FNV. There's just something captivating about it. Anyone else feel the fame way?

  • Anywhere I can download all of this music?

  • Wow all these negative comments just prove that "War, war never changes"(Ron Pearlman). It also proves that "So long as there are differenes we will TEAR OURSELVES APART fighting eachother"(The Master).

  • Read the comments below this for the last 3+ pages, proving War never changes

  • Ahh Fallout 3...

Sweet memories, i love the game so much but nostalgia can be a real bitch sometime's :(

    i've played the game a 100% more then a thousand time's !!

  • Man, at first I was travelling always with the radio on. When I turned off and listened to this, woah... this music fits perfectly with the ambient

  • my favorite game of this generation.

  • Played Skyrim, going to go back to Fallout 3. Skyrim is too short and not enough random stuff. <_<

  • @Nerevarineownsyou You've definitely been playing a different game than I have. I just travelled the world, only fast-travelling from city to city. The world is filled with random events and feels a lot more alive than the Capital Wasteland.

  • @CabooseBE He's making it up considering it's a matter of fact that Skyrim is a longer and larger game (quests & world size), just like Oblivion was. Fallout was a smaller game, but with the smaller world game more complex situations/quests.

Both great games, but someone saying Skyrim is too short when they're talking about why they're going back to Fallout 3 is not speaking truthfully at all.

  • @CabooseBE erg.... Wastelands

  • @CabooseBE thats because Capital Wasteland is a post-apocalyptic city...u know the alive part...Skyrim is great but Fallout is better

  • @CabooseBE That's because Skyrim is newer, and is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Though I do love Skyrim, it's a really great game, Fallout 3 will always take the cake for me. Well.... except for maybe FO4... lol. (Not New Vegas though)

  • @CabooseBE its not called "wasteland" for nothing

  • @CabooseBE Is the atomic wasteland really supposed to feel alive?

  • @CabooseBE feels more alive? theres like 4 5 towns in the game. hardly any enemeis fights you can get to one side of the map to the other with only killing 5 -6 creatures. thats not alive to me.to much sand and rocks

  • @CabooseBE :) Skyrim should be a lot more alive than the wasteland. The Capital Wasteland is called a wasteland for a reason.

  • @qexec1173 Lucas Simms reference :D Nice

  • @CabooseBE of course it feels more alive than the wastleland. the wasteland is the unknown. everyone doesn't trust each other meaning more curoius!

  • @CabooseBE Both you and the person you are replying to are incorrect, go play in traffic or something.

  • @Nerevarineownsyou Skyrim has 300+ hour potential, easily, and that's not including radiant quests. Not exactly my definition of short. The random events are in fact more numerous and not restricted to certain locations, like Fallout.

  • @Jesushobo I'm just speaking off personal experience. Skyrim isn't short, but I've been playing it more often so it feels so. :l

  • @Nerevarineownsyou nah you're right, Skyrim sucks compared to Fallout 3. Of course I'll never be giving Bethesda another dime, since every single product they release on the Playstation 3 has been bugged. Today's gaming industry has no problem with releasing half-finished products and coding that should still be in beta phase, and charging full price for it. Only way to get it to stop is to stop supporting the corrupt business practices.

  • @DarknessSquall75

As much as I agree with you, I don't even think that's a solution either, since there's just too many people who are still going to buy the game anyway and are too stubborn to see otherwise. I understand not supporting a company out of principle, but it's unrealistic to think that it will change their ways.

  • @DarknessSquall75 every game that comes out gets a patch sooner or later. games that have more than 100+ hrs will have bugs no matter who the fuck made the game. too much. i just got off skyrim.. not one glitch have i encounter. if thats the case dont play no game at all if games having bugs are bothering you

  • @Nerevarineownsyou wth? you really didn't explore much in skyrim then, Skyrim has way more areas and stuff to do than Fallout 3, don't get me wrong, I love F3, one of my favourite games ever!

  • @neme6ben Damn me if I don't know, but I have most locations discovered, all faction quests done, MQ done, most misc. quests complete, etc. All thanks to the Official Game Guide.

Fallout 3 is better, in the long run. Skyrim is new yeah yeah but it has a clumsy combat system, buggy game (which will be long before it is fixed) and VERY short faction quests. Can't really compare the two, as Fallout 3 is patched and Skyrim is barely.

  • @Nerevarineownsyou, yeah, you must have played the wrong game, I've played both Fallout 3 and Skyrim and Skyrim has a whole lot more random stuff. And as far as it being to short, what did you do, just play the main quest, bc if you just play the main quest on fallout 3, it's shorter then Skyrim. Games like these, it the side stuff that makes it longer

  • @Hav58 False accusations. I have played every single side quest and faction quest and the main quest in Skyrim, yet Fallout 3 had more depth, character development, and had a better feel to it than Skyrim, which just feels empty and unfinished with the horrible character writing and endless bugs.

  • @Nerevarineownsyou And Fallout 3 wasn't full of endless bugs? Or lousy writing and repeated one-liners? Or prone to killing quest-giving NPC's due to poor choices for enemy spawn locations? Nothing like having a scaled-level Deathclaw or Albino Radscorpion chase you through an inhabited locale...

  • @ExoditeDragon See:? So then it comes down to personal opinion. Both games have incredible flaws, and all I said was my opinion about both games.

Besides, I'd say New Vegas was my favorite game, but then you'd give me crap some more.

  • 3:33 minutes long...

    Strange.

  • I get nostalgia at 2:44, I love hearing those short, brisk piano strikes. Makes me think of how calm the wasteland can really be.

  • Fallout 3 is the best game in humanity, unless they make fallout 3:a tribute, in wich they add longer campaign, lag fix and multiplayer, NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING can compete.

  • @runelpd Fix a few glitches here and there and make it infinitely long so you can play it forever! Sounds good to me!

  • You both have your own opinions. So be it,but don't argue about which game is better as you both can see this a soundtrack for the game, not a gameplay video. Now would you both kindly stop your useless argument. It's taking up too much space on the page.

  • @METALGEARSOL1D and @JakeVideoStation all fallouts are good!

  • @METALGEARSOL1D and @JakeVideoStation

Both of you are completely ruining this music with your juvenile bickering and trash talking; one of you needs to at least pretend to be mature and just stop.

  • Can the bitches fighting eachother shut the hell up!

  • This is absolutely beautiful...

  • I see a lot of comments saying this one's better, that one's better. Just stop. They're two different games, set in two different areas of the USA. Of course things will be different, just like it is IRL. The BoS thing is explained in the story, and the Paladins on the east coast are just trying to do some good and kick the reputation. Both games have their ups and downs, depending on WHAT YOU PREFER. Stop trolling by ripping on the games, and start writing comments about the music.

  • @TheTeddyIsALiar I think so, I'm hearing it right now in Skyrim.

  • sir you just gained a sub

  • OH MY GOD THANK YOU CaboosE! I have been looking for this song forever! I owe you one later :D

  • 1:42 <3

  • the long deathly calm after the fiery storm...

  • Comment removed

  • My fuel to the ever burning fire is a small one but one none the less, how the fuck did the jet recipe make it's way to the east coast, as only one person knew it and kept it under lock and key.

  • @MrChubbyCats Easily, it is Bethshista they have monkeys writing their storylines. The BoS was an ever falling faction in Fallout: 1/2, but somehow they made their way to Washington past the Divide and several other hell holes--Cassidy even warned about how crazy it is at the Divide. The original creator, Tim Cain, even says how disappointed he was with how they handled the storyline. At least Obsidian brought it back for a last hoorah before it goes back up Todd Howard's ass.

  • @METALGEARSOL1D Hey buddy, if you want to be a dumbass would you mind spelling Bethesda's name right? It's not that hard and it is a real place in Maryland. Also, Fallout 3 was the only true post-apocalyptic game out of the series with it's survival elements, such as ammo being scarce and mutants extremely hard to kill. Fallout: New Vegas failed incredibly on it's survival elements with ammo that you could craft, so quite literally I had ammo falling out of my ass. #3 was the best of the series.

  • @JakeVideoStation New Vegas wasn't much of a wasteland, just a desert. Not many people live in the desert. So it's like playing in today's desert except with crazy mutant things. Since the DC area is so lively, you can see the vast devastation from the war. Everywhere you see it's dead trees, damaged and destroyed buildings, flipped cars, and skeletons.

  • @Jeff12798 Not to offend greatly, but you just made the dumbest argument i have ever heard, Fallout: New Vegas had over 6000 killable NPCs. Fallout 3 had 3000. Also FNV had over 2000 NPCs you could talk to, and F3 had a little over 600. So although that would make a lot of sense that is the exact opposite of what happened.

  • @JakeVideoStation Yeah more shit to do. Would there be that many people in a wasteland desert?

  • wasnt this in oblivion?

  • I'M A VAULT 108 DWELLER. Gary.

  • @OfficerRyman7 False because all you would have said would have been varying forms of GARY.

  • @MrChubbyCats Fine, >:\ *puts Vault 34 security vest back on and heads back to the 100 degrees and + mojave wasteland..*

  • I have been playing fallou 3 non-stop for rest 5 months now. Without any DLC.

  • @perttupekka

You could easily double that with the DLC, no joke, and if your playing on the PC then you may never have to buy another game for a while. Unless you decide to pick up New Vegas, Which I recommend, Highly.

  • @MrChubbyCats I decided to buy first broken steel and then i'll see if i need the rest.

  • About time for another play through I think . . .

  • At 1:00 I always heard that bell.

  • When I hear the part in 2:00 it just brings so much nostalgia and a kind of dejavu every time I hear this part. Very weird but I really love this part.

  • @joshuame505 Same

  • @joshuame505

The game is excellent. I've played all the great games in all their times: doom, mario games, ocarina of time, goldeneye n64, vice-city, halo, uncharted 1/2, and fallout 3, and F3 is the best game I have ever played! I give it a 9.91/10.

    I salivate for F4!

  • @PR0GRAMMING You forgot to mention Fallout 1 and 2, because when they were released they were both considered one of the best RPG's available at the time, and still are.

  • @joshuame505 Because it's one of the only parts that kind of "stands out", and so is the only one you actually get notice over the sound of the player character's footsteps. Same goes for 1:00

  • @joshuame505 It's amazing how much this theme sounds like Jeremy Soule, yet it's Inon Zur.

  • @joshuame505 Same here, from 1:45 it does get very nostalgic and makes me think not only about F3. Also, this game had one of the most unique story, music and environment in the whole time.

  • @joshuame505 Nostalgia? This game came out like a goddamn year ago. What are you, ten?

  • @searanox

Did I say I was playing it? Passed it two years ago. Even if I was what makes you so butt hurt to make a stupid ass comment? Not getting enough attention bitch? Fuck off to your CoD game, dumb shit.

  • @searanox it came out 3 years ago you tard -.-

  • @searanox you are sooo stupid, soo stupid!

  • @searanox yeah also for me this music is very NOSTALGIC, and i love it. Now go away dipshit

  • @searanox

    more like 3.5 years

  • Yay Dogmeat. :3

  • what is the name of the theme played during the narration of the good ending?-

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful music, I like the new title.

  • @Neonytic I've had the pleasure of playing Fallout1 & 2 a long time ago. So this guy has no idea what he's talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @METALGEARSOL1D Lazy writing? Dude, maybe you are upset because your beloved group changed on the east coast, but still, deal with it. Stop crying over it and chane your diapers while you're at it. Everything is fine all things considered with the Fallout settings and story. And you are stating your little opinionated rants as if they were facts, so still, they are null and void and don't mean shit.

Also, yes I do remember who the first caesar was.Best firends with joshua graham, andformer FotA

  • @CorRomeister HHAHAH! Wrong, idiot, the first Caesar was supposed to be Metzger from the Den. Maybe you need to not argue with someone who grew up with the Fallout series. I'm not crying because Obsidian made it right once again by depicting the true BoS in Fallout: New Vegas. I hate the fucking BoS, and that is the whole point of that faction. I'm correct in all things Fallout, so, please, go back to your CoD forums because us true Fallout fans got our last game with New Vegas.

  • @METALGEARSOL1D The first Caesar was Julius.
