@KOSKESH43 I havent ridden the big 990 bikes but from the experience I have in general (Touno, Hornet etc) I would say that that is a completely different bike that has little but the riding position in common with a race supermoto

Either way it could be a great choice for you, you should try them out before you decide

@aaleeksii The 550 is a much nicer engine on the streets, you should go for that one :) Unless you are new to bikes that is!

@eysbeg It sounds better and I think it might be tuned a little more for the bottom end than the Silmoto, but it has the huge disadvantage of being placed on the side so when you crash you scrape it up! Mine has done prolly 50 crashes and the exhaust isnt damaged at all

Those SXV's are so appealing, only by looking you want one instantly and when you hear them roar...ohh boy you get breathless, your heart pumps like hell and then comes the cold sweats. My guess its a new disease or syndrome, this bike makes you sick of longing and desire. No woman on earth can make you feel like this. Maybe foolish but i guess for me riding this baby will probably be better than sex. Utopia = to ride one of these and at the end of the ride have sex with Monica Bellucci : )

a little help please, whats the power comparison to say a cbr600rr or any full out 600 because i had a cbr600, got rid of it now lookin into another bike and i really like these im just worried there isnt gonna be enouph power?

@CUNextTuesday56 You are not in the same speed ranges when you are on a bike like this one. For the speeds you are using it in it feels a lot more powerfull, but the engine is a lot less powerfull when it comes to the numbers. Top speed is hugely different. Mine tops out at around 175 km/h in the video but with gearing it can do about 210-220km/h. Its a long way from a CBR600RR´s top speed tho.

If you have the bike for playfull riding, you will appreciate the SXV more.

@Blackrier93 I dont know if its the same rules as in sweden, here you get to drive it full power when you´re 21 :) I guess every countries police is different to the other, but here thats no problem. Otherwise you could ride tracks with it? :)

May I ask what specific power parts do you have in this bike ? Some racing exhaustion and powercommander/tuneboy I would assume ? Also do you have any idea about the dyno results of this bike ?

@aaleeksii Its Silmoto exhaust, SXV race spec. Tuneboy with a special mapping from Alice racing. Lighter clutch pack, VDB cams, special air filter and some mods I´m not allowed to reveal

With the alice racing mapping and the silmoto exhaust (the best one in my opinion, coming from someone who crash a lot ;) ) you will go a loooooong way

I havent had the bike on the dyno but it makes a lot more than stock, especially in the mid registry. I have dragraced a 550 with exhaust and I came out on top

@milojhanju Hi! This bike has had a lot of upgrades and this particular bike is super stable.

I thought a stock SXV was quite stable too. You cant compare it to a 200 kg sports bike but its not unstable like it wants to throw you off or make you go all over the road... But yes it vibrates and yes the sadle is uncomfortable, this is not a bike you buy to go on longer trips, its a bike you buy to have fun with on winding roads and in urban terrain.

@TheRobzombie1989 Its a Silmoto SXV exhaust system, you can get them from Alice Racing in Great Britain. The 550 sounds a bit "deeper" and it doesnt rev as high

I chose Akrapovic because it is supposed to have a little more low and midrange punch than the rest -longer headers and pipes, you know-.

Fortunately, I am not in racing, just trackdays, so I build speed little by little with less chance of kissing the ground. But hey, I should get an exhaust protector. Just in case... Hehehe.

Haha yes you should, crashing is inavoidable :D

The akra has a deeper sound than the silmoto too, sounds heavier, the silmoto has an more agressive sound when you get the revs up high tho :)
