Government is being hollowed out with the help of fire sales done to the benefit of the super-rich. The state and local governments have big revenue shortfalls and they're responding to this with fire sales of taxpayer assets for pennies to the dollar. Moreover, everything in sight is being privatised, bringing forth a middle man whose sole purpose is to collect profit. It's like volunteering to pay the mafia a protection tax.

Another funny thing I noticed. In the mission statement the 9/12ers say, "we were not obsessed with Red States, Blue States" on that magical day of 9/12.

At the 2004 Democratic Convention, Barak Obama said "There is not a Red America, or a Blue America, there's only the United States of America."
