I have plenty of past experience and I didn't say you where cynical i said a majority of the users i know and after effects is best used with premier whether you use premier as a second resource and final cut for your main editing secondly after effects is a core element in major movies. But regardless of what you say or i say where wasting time debating which is better for what if you want to drop a ton on a top hardware unit macs are there but if you want an affordable unit pc is the go.
macs are retarded. their mouse had only ONE button! how in the hell could you play half life without a second mouse button and a scroll thing. ok, it is possible, but very uncomfortable. to even use the right mouse click, you need to press the apple button and then the mouse button. instead of making it easier for everyone and put a frickin' second mouse button on that colourfull piece of "E.T. Atari".

@superdum2 They aren't overpriced. Find my a PC for under $1k that has the best display, full aluminium casing and a lifetime of around 10 years. No it doesn't take more ram. That's a lie and that shows me you've never used a mac. I have 45% less memory usage on my mac than on my PC. Find me a design studio that doesn't use macs and I'll show you a company that is not at the top of its game. I have a diploma in digital art. There's a reason we all use macs.
@andyhmltn I have used a mac on several occasions and cant stand them the most logical reason design studios use macs are because there geared towards the creative mind which i can guarantee that that's not always the case for those who are creative but for the price people on macs i can build a pc that's 2 times better. also it is minimal increases in ram but I'm one to be apauled at that difference. But if there is a reason for them all using macs id like to hear your opinion of it.

Your pc you built will probably last about a year before it starts getting slow due to low quality ram, the computer will get damaged because you got a cheap case and your display won't be on par with apples current line (the market leaders.) No it's not. Explain why my photoshop uses 40% less ram on a mac?
@andyhmltn Fair enough you win on the side of ram and i am already aware that apple use's top hardware but as i state and will never denie my claim final cut pro will never be as well inter graded with effects programs like after effects as it is with premier which both run on pc and mac the bottom line is the pc holds a better and more budget solution for all computer related work but the main turn off for me with macs is i know one or two users irl who arnt cynical towards all non users.
@superdum2 Are you serious!? Go to a film studio. Most of them use final cut pro. After effects isn't even used for the same stuff. I'm not cynical to non-users. I'm just cynical to people that slag off the brand without actually research and past experience.
If only Mac had listened to PC.
