  • I cant understand why such a great, well put together, informative video, has so many dislikes other than he killed some lobsters. Go vegan if you find eating other species immoral, don't dislike a well put together video.

  • who's got butter

  • They dont "scream". Its salt water insulation between cracks in their shells that turn into steam and escape making a whistling sound. And agreeing with 'ItsTheKingSon' a lobster is going to feel pain when its cooked alive but it is also going to feel pain if half eaten by a fist or torn apart by one.

  • ok they dont "scream"

but it doesnt mean they dont feel

    ffs

  • @LobsterGram Do the lobsters die like a couple of seconds upon hitting the water, or do they do some panic dance first?

  • @ChinaLake100 Never cooked a lobster, but I have seen other crustaceans spend several seconds trying to climb out of the boiling water....

  • @scaneverdies

actually this guy is right, lobsters have EXTREMELY basic nervous systems and they would barely feel anything, and on another not, what do you think a lobster feels after it's bitten in half by a fish... pain, it feels pain. no matter what ate this lobster it would have felt some small amount of pain, so stop with your bitching

  • @ItsTheKingSon yeah but the fish has no choice. We have choice. Are you saying you have no more morals than a _fish_

  • @ItsTheKingSon

Oh, but we're talking about humans here, and dealing with mindless, media-driven, overly liberal children. To them, everything we do should be demonized. The world would be better off if someone boiled them alive...

  • americans...

  • @Alosdk unnecessary

  • I'm almost bummed with myself that I've stooped to commenting on a YouTube video, but I do just want to add that the capacity to feel pain is a very, very primitive mechanism that any animal with a nervous system possesses. The ability to feel and avoid pain is something that most organisms need to survive. To say that lobsters "don't feel anything" is an idea that would sound silly coming from a four-year-old, much less a full grown man. This is a fucked up practice, plain and simple.

  • How did I even get here?

  • aww theyre all limp and dead

  • Nooooooo :(

  • Delicious!

  • MR. PINCHY NOOOOOOOOOOO WHY DID YOU KILL HIM

  • why is everyone disliking??? it is nasty if you kill it then don't eat it but it is ok if you kill them and eat them, boiling them alive is the only way to kill them easily and yes they do probely feel a bit of pain.... you just have to live with it i mean what would you rather do? stick a knife or screwdriver through its brain or boil it? I don't like people who just kill living animals for fun but if they eat them is isn't as bad.

  • 1:49 put the lid on in case they splash some water around as they FIGHT FOR THEIR LLIVES omg the tragedyyyyy somebody help them aaaaah mr pinchy is burning!!!!

  • lol @ not feeling anything, lemme put you face first in there dickweed

  • Didn't find that beautiful, just very sad.

  • I could never do that

  • Aliiiiiive aaaaand DEAD!.. Heeeere aaaand GONE!... lol..

  • The screaming noise comes from pressure differentials inside/outside shell caused by dramatic change in temp.

  • LOL HE WAS PLAYING WITH THEIR PRIVATE PARTS!

  • who cares if they feel anything... they taste good.

  • They don't scream but they do give off a screaming kind of noise sometimes... i heard it in a greek resturaunt once on holiday... it's gas escaping through thier exoskeleton.

  • Take the elastic off the claws first, you ruined those lobsters.

The claws taste horrible when you don't.

  • that was kinda fun to wacth haha

  • Come on, first kill them then boil them. Why let them trough that torture?

  • @liqvidering because that's how you cook lobster.

  • @liqvidering This is probably the easiest and quickest way to kill a lobster. Lobsters have exoskeletons so there is no real "easy" way to kill them.

  • i want a lobster know:(

  • never had a lobster.

  • oh my gahd %_%

  • 'No animals were harmed during the making of this video... Except for those lobster guys'

  • oh my god "lobster killer" :P:P:P

  • humans only evolved by consuming high protein diet.

you can keep eat veggies but you are just dumbing down human race

  • @claus1225 im not a vegetatian.

your comment is proof that the human race is already dumb.

  • I have a strange fascination with dropping living things in a pot and food coming out. Am I a freak? haha

  • mmmm lobster is the best!

  • I would like to think that the nervous system of a human differs just a little bit from a lobster. Learn some anatomy hippy :)

  • i just wanted to watch a lobster gettin boil'd :)

  • because they're not real

  • you gotta put the lid on the pot because they will try to get out

  • you don't hear them scream, air escapes from gaps and cracks in the shell from time to time but it's unintentional.

  • Take off the rubber bands you goose.

    Yummmm.... rubber.

  • awesome! thanks man i used this cooking method and it turned out great!

  • He just killed four Dr. John Zoidbergs ... lol

  • @Hedgehoggy1983 WIMMIMIMIMIIMMIMIMIIM

  • lalala lets sing chareoke

  • how can they "not feel anything" ?

  • they don't have a central nervous system, aka no nerve endings so they don't feel it, much like an insect.

  • @fdsman but then, how come you hear them scream? :S

  • cuz when they get put them in it shocks them and kills them fast

  • @80smoviesguy i was thinking the same thing D:

  • @80smoviesguy primative nervous system

  • @80smoviesguy ...because death is close to instant.

  • @80smoviesguy Because when you boil them they quickly pass out. Kinda like crabs when you boil them, they die almost instantly.

  • @80smoviesguy crustaceans dont have pain receptors like humans.

  • @80smoviesguy ever heard of "painless death"?

  • Comment removed

  • @80smoviesguy

there insecnifigant. (i know i spelled that wrong)

  • @80smoviesguy they have no pain receptors, and either way they dont have vocal cords so they cant scream there way into getting pity out of u

  • @80smoviesguy Because they die so quick, there is no pain.

  • @80smoviesguy they are cold blooded, they dont feel/register pain like us or other warm blooded animal, they know something is off when they are put in boiling water, their reaction is nervs. the "scream" is true, though its from steam releaseing from their body. Thats how that wivestail started. and fyi or btw...they are actually not an animal, but more closely related to spiders or arachnid family. Thats why we call em "bugs" slangly, but we all know spiders arnt bugs

  • @80smoviesguy

Lobsters do not have actual "brains" they have ganglia, too simple to feel emotions and suffer, they can sense pain to react to things, this is a basic trait for most living things if not all. Reacting to stimuli is a basic criteria for life

  • @80smoviesguy, underdeveloped nervous systems.

  • @80smoviesguy Cause they die...So it wouldnt really matter!

  • Comment removed

  • @80smoviesguy They cant, lobsters have only 100,000 neurons. Their nervous system is so primitive that they don't feel pain. As opposed to humans, we have 100 billion neurons which is why we DO feel pain. Before you start bitching about something, how about you do some research on it...

  • @80smoviesguy Because they have a nervous system that's different to ours stupid. Also by that logic eating a salad is the worse thing in the world because you're eating them alive.

  • @412356 my momma told me never to feed the trolls....

  • @80smoviesguy Okay well i'm not a troll. crustaiaans don't feel pain it's been proven dumbass.

  • @412356 i was going off your picture and your stupid comment about salad. you and 20 other people starting from a year ago have already told me everything. i posted the comment a long time ago before i researched it.

  • @80smoviesguy How do you know that the salad thing is stupid. If you can just say that lobsters feel pain without much backings or research then I can sayplants feel pain as well. They may not have nervous systems like the ones we have but maybe they have their own nervous systems. See how awesome life is if you can just state stuff based on speculation and no hard facts.

  • @80smoviesguy Their central nervous systems aren't advanced enough to feel serious pain. They still feel pain, but it's minimal.

  • @80smoviesguy Their nervous system isn't as advanced as other animals

  • Yeah they dont scream, its the air pressure in their bodies and the shell, i actualy cooked my first live lobster only 3 days ago and it was YMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY......i love all things seafood....also, save the water and put all the shells and bits back in and reduce to make a lovely seafood stock for another dinner....like the vid by the way.

  • wohoo gabes english classs!!!
