They also try to collect from people like myself who weren't shipped anything at all! They also offered me a discount on my first purchase that would have about covered the shipping just to sign up with them but then tried to charge me the full amount! Don't use them, beware!
Essentially, BillMeLater is giving you credit, and just like a credit card, they have to do what's called a "hard pull" on your credit report. Hard pulls will drop your credit score roughly five points for roughly up to six months afterwards.
Sounds great; especially for Christmas but...can't get it to actually "Bill Me"! When trying to finalize a purchase it goes to PayPal everytime. I even called the BML hotline 3x tonight with no luck. THINK IT'S JUST A WAY TO DUPE PEOPLE INTO USING PAYPAL.

You are responsible for monthly minimum payments until the balance is paid off...and there is interest tacked on just the same as a credit card. You log into the Bill Me Later site to make payments to your account using a bank account. It's owned by the same company that owns Paypal and Ebay. It's refer to as a PayPal service.
Where do you go to pay it off if you're using Paypal?
