  • how'd you keep the video so stable?

  • @rustinroy I don't know. It is a Go Pro camera, they are great. It is on a special mount that comes with the camera.

  • Is the park crowded? How do the other bikers handle Gus being off leash?

  • @kurguzy You are riding a 6 mile loop so if there are people they are spread out. I might see 2 other people on the trail on the weekends. I took him on the weekdays. Mtn bikers are good at avoiding obstacles and no one ever says a negative thing.

  • gus looks like an awesome mtb companion :) i absolutely love being able to bring my four-legged companion along... she has so much fun...and isnt unlike gus in her habit of taking time to enjoy any water she comes across. great video! check out the vids i have posted my dog, cooke, get a lot of film time as well.

  • i love gus

  • @pantalapampanaga He is a great dog!

  • Great vid.

  • Let us know next time you are planning to ride at Alum and my boys and I will join you.

  • I've rode P2 more than I can count and I have no idea where that section before the A frame at the end is? The section where the trail splits and has stairs on one side? Where is that?

  • What time in the video are you talking about specifically?

  • Oh around the 6:20 mark? You need to stay to the right at some point. The trial kind of splits around mile 5 or so. Then it meets back up with with itself .

  • Yep, that's the point. OK, I'll have to watch for that. Great video.

  • your dog is awesome!

  • phase III?

  • There is no phase III. This is phase II. Phase I has a lot of roots and ruts. Across the street from the parking lot of phase I there is a "skills" park.

  • there's three trails i thought, a 2 mile beginner, a 6 mile intermediate, and a 6 mile advanced.

  • There are 3 trails, but they call the intermediate the phase II. The advanced they call phase II. No one really rides the beginner, it is boring.

  • oh... today we rode the intermediate, and i think the beginner also has a skills track?

  • Err I was mistaken. Phase I is the intermediate and Phase II is the advanced. The Intermediate has a section about 1,000 feet long that is wooden. Phase I has a section 100' that is 15 feet in the air and see saw challenge.

  • Very cool video man thanks for posting. Love the two camera angels and your dog is cool too.

  • Hey thanks a lot. Just went out there again this weekend. Great place to go.
