A suggestion to all my brothers and sisters in Christ, there's no point in arguing with non-believers on these videos. It just adds fuel to their fire. It only fans the flame and, as a result, supports their down falls. It'd be best to simply give the video a thumbs up and leave an encouraging comment to the poet and a praise to God and let those who reject Jesus say what they want, and leave them be. @lisaking22 Like my addiction to pornography I've been battling since the 7th grade( I'm almost 21), it will never go away. God has saved me from that sin, it pained me and I know it pains Him. My heart is that I don't want to commit that sin anymore. Sin always feels good/right, nobody would struggle with it if it didn't. But being saved isn't the end of the struggle, only the beginning of a life long war. God has helped me stay away from porn, but why would Satan give up on my deepest sin?

I feel so deeply sorry for him and that he was molested as a child. I also feel badly that his faith pressures him to be hetero. I hope he can one day gain clarity, because i really have a feeling he's lying to himself AND his wife. I think he's using this poem to help him validate his attempt to be straight. I'm not convinced that he's no longer attracted to men; no matter how long he "walks in God" or asks for strength, it'll be there. He can deny it forever, but wouldn't God know his heart?

I am not gay. I have never had a gay thought, nor have I ever experienced a gay encounter. I listened to this man speak with such passion in his voice, and I commend him for being able to reveal his darkest secrets, but I do NOT believe that homosexuality is the devil. I do not believe that those who choose to be homosexual are evil, nor do I believe that homosexuals are "born this way". It is a choice, a conscious choice. A decision made by the individual. @KiRobertz1 I agree with you on everything except when you say people are not born gay. Yes homosexuality is wrong, true it is not of God (but rather the absence of God). But as Romans 3:23 says "all have sinned" even a newborn has a sinful nature. So one may be born gay but that does not make it any more right then someone born with pride in their heart etc. thats all Im sayin. I'm a black male and this hit me hard. I always liked girls but around the age of 14/15, I started looking at homosexual porn. It later progressed to straight porn. I then began to be confused about whether I was gay or straight, but never acted upon these feelings. This cycle continued on and off for about 8 years after being spiritually convicted to give up these thoughts. I felt guilty for years but today, I'm ready to break the cycle.
@BassBwoy3 Similar testimony for me. I still struggle, but I'm continually learning that temptation is common to man, which means I have no excuse. I have to repent and resist my flesh just like everyone else who calls themselves a believer.
For sure! It's a daily struggle, but with God all things are possible. It seems like everything is a trigger reminding me of what I've done, but everyday the Holy Spirit reminds me that those wrong thoughts represent the old me. This is why we have to continuously renew (make new again) our minds. It's the only way we can walk in the 'newness' of life. I pray for your complete deliverance.

@KiRobertz1 I agree with you on everything except when you say people are not born gay. Yes homosexuality is wrong, true it is not of God (but rather the absence of God). But as Romans 3:23 says "all have sinned" even a newborn has a sinful nature. So one may be born gay but that does not make it any more right then someone born with pride in their heart etc. thats all Im sayin. Our job as Christians is to show them that sin and guid them back to God, He'll do the rest. God bless you too.

satan wanted me dead and disconnected, but christ told me that if i could ignore the secrets i wouldn't be rejected. and he kept feeding me these secrets and he told me to accept it. i tried to accept it, but my spirit man was affected.he told me i was born this way and he told me to accept it, but except it wasn't accepting. but christ said you would be the exception, if you would just accept me.

For me: I'm gay. I was sexually abused. The two are unrelated.

I'm a black male and this hit me hard. I always liked girls but around the age of 14/15, I started looking at homosexual porn. It later progressed to straight porn. I then began to be confused about whether I was gay or straight, but never acted upon these feelings. This cycle continued on and off for about 8 years after being spiritually convicted to give up these thoughts. I felt guilty for years but today, I'm ready to break the cycle.

For sure! It's a daily struggle, but with God all things are possible. It seems like everything is a trigger reminding me of what I've done, but everyday the Holy Spirit reminds me that those wrong thoughts represent the old me. This is why we have to continuously renew (make new again) our minds. It's the only way we can walk in the 'newness' of life. I pray for your complete deliverance.
