lol, would def say coincidental about the characters resembling anyone living. Reminded me of Pauly and The Situation from Jersey Shore. Perhaps the female was Snookie with a breast reduction and a haircut.
the texas chainsaw massacre was base on the story of ed gein... he never use a chainsaw but he kills people... and the skin of his victims were use for decorating of his house
@Gameplayer77 he was a farmer, the "scene" was his residence for the most part.... Of course there was a chainsaw there, doesn't mean he killed ppl with it
are you sure? i realise that he didn't actually have sex with cadavers, according to gein, due to the smell. so he wasn't a necropheliac. he was a lover of death and dead things, so the term necrophile still applies. it's easier to just label him insane.
correct. ed was not a serial killer, but a necrophile. he only committed murder (twice i think?) to obtain a fresh body, presumably because the softer skin was more pliable and easier to "work with".
"it puts the lotion on the skin, or else it gets the hose again...."

@mnarockon actually the character of leatherface was based on Ed Gein, but the murders in TCM were not based on the Gein case.

this is historicall inaccurate in many ways, for one lynard skynard was not a band until the late 1960's and Ed Gein was captured in 1957.
