But I don't think they've "fallen off" these last few years (this Circus @ Rothbury was just 2 years ago) - any band as restless and exploratory as STS9 is bound to lose a few people along the way as they try new things. I know a few peeps who won't listen to anything after Seasons, and still others who think the Axe the Cables stuff is "elevator music." To each their own, but I'm on-board for the long haul. :)

@superjay42 i hear what you are saying... however, I'm talkin about tribe falling off so bad that I was just straight up confused at their shows. Waka a few years back... the fuck? it was awful. HOWEVER.... Saturday was EPIC, and i have not seen them that in to a show and energized... ever. It was unreal. They are bringin it... if they tour anywhere near you, go. I promise you, you will have an incredible night!

@adexplorata I haven't listened to the Wakarusa so I can't comment, but both Rothbury sets in 08 and 09 and were pretty much off the hook. :) S.Camp, Red Rocks 09... huge. Last year's Chicago run (with an Axe the Cables show), unbelievable. This year, stellar set at AllGood (Circus opener there, too). Maybe I just get lucky! ;)

Got another Tribe gig coming up in October... Lotus and Pretty Lights the same month.. definitely a fine time to be alive and grooving here on planet Earth. PEACE
