My laptop has 667Mhz(pc2-5300) so dimm DDR2 ram...if I upgrade it to 800mhz (pc2-6400) in case that does not support this speed will I have any difficulties having the laptop running (even clocked at 667)???
i hate to break this to mr UNrealitytouchdesign..but ah OCZ, and mushkin HAVE BOTH done extremely similar feats. it's nothing new. they do it with cpu's video cards..etc., bottom line. yea..it's cool i suppose but no end user in his right mind will have such a set up. nitrogen is expensive as hell. not even the top tier gamers use this type of setup. it's unrealistic
@chronofusion Liquid Nitrogen is dirt cheap for your information. But I do agree with you, it's not like any normal person would invest in such a setup...
@eventfularse dirt cheap? LOL. get real kid. I've talked to buyers who buy liquid nitrogen tanks for fork lifts for Sutherlands and other building material retail businesses and its the SAME nitrogen used in these nerd-aholic pc builds. Must be nice to be rich on your end eh? Well mommy and daddy couldn't afford to buy me a pony.
And now, Please run some IBT 2.5 or linx 0.6.4 20 test runs. I gotta see this.
Please do some extensive memory benches please at the rated speed and timings, especially at, holy shit, 1cmd timing rate. good damn good lord, jeezus.
if ur talking about the os their using on the video its windows 7 with windows classic skin so it can boot up faster and also less cpu/hdd hog etc just faster overall
@CRAKIZGOOD not only that, the system is rather old, so if it is indeed 3.2ghz main physical ram, the latency themselves, especially the TCL(CAS or aka Column Adress Strobe) must be extremely high in order
achieve very high memory clock speeds. Would have to be in order for it to become stable enough for
Awesome! It always makes me smile when I see frozen hardware like that because I can imagine how that must horrify the R&D guys. Grats to Kingston on the high performance HyperX memory.

@chronofusion Wow, it's amazing how anally retentive people get over the smallest things. I was joking, get the hell over yourself!

I think it's more like hyperclocked than overclocked.

oh I didnt see that, thought it was tri-channel at first, oops, still doesnt matter, incredible speeds. 10 thumbs up.

Great!, but what the benefit do i have to do this in home to reach that score lol, i think Ps3 has 3Ghz ram already!.

@Azmza77 haha you wish, but why do they use windows 95, or something like that?

ur talking about the ps3
its unix based
if ur talking about the os their using on the video its windows 7 with windows classic skin so it can boot up faster and also less cpu/hdd hog etc just faster overall
and i think azmza77 is talking about cpu

@CRAKIZGOOD If you look at the specs for the ps3 main system memory it says:
XDR RAM @ 3.2ghz

@SparklesofUnity What amazes me about this video is this:
Not just the clock speed, not just the TCL(CAS latency timings) but omfg, LOOK @ the command timing rate: 1????? HOLY FUCKIN' SHIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD DAMN!!!!! going from 1 to 2 cmd timing rate, big difference in memory bandwidth drops.
Holy moly, 1 cmd timing rate @ 3ghz+, good lord. Gotta bookmark this one.
