i remember looking at the goalie stats if you played a season and being like wtf.. if you played 5 minute periods and your goalie let in 1 goal he'd have a 4.00 GAA... cuz they based it on a 60 minute game.

Best way to score was take a left handed shooter up the right wing, cut thru the crease then put it top left cheese.. worked every time

I loved smashing the ref thru the glass during stoppages. Me and my cousin used to try to do it everytime. the ref would quickly get up while in the crowd and jump back onto the ice.

I dont know why, but usually I use the side view (cam) for soccer games and the upper view (which you first had turned on) for hockey ever since.. Don't know why =) Man this game was the ish, thx for adding some parts from the games menu aswell =)

I just found this NHL 98 CD for PC, I remembered that my CD-ROM drive wouldn't read it so I was stuck with playing NHL (93) and NHL 95, I'm going to try installing it on my older AMD PC. My friend's husband always played this game back in the days when I went over to their place.

The gameplay seems quite similar to the 08 and 09 that you see now except the graphics are improved.
