The Marquis De Sade's work really is worth a read, I particularly found Justine and Juliett grotesquely comic! Plus I LOVE this film! Great Vid!

Indeed, he is one of my favourite authors. I prefer 120 Days of Sodom. It isn't considered his Magnum Opus for nothing ;)

Quills is an amazing movie, yes. What it lacks in historical accuracy it makes up for in sexy.

You can find ebooks of his work, or buy them at amazon. Barnes and Noble has his work too. It's beautifully written work, though not for the sensitive. I thoroughly recommend it!!!

Yes I have read them and there is a difference between what is written and what he actually did - there is some doubt as to whether he actually poisoned some whores ( who survived ) in his attempt to make an aphrodisiac or whether it had been some quack doctor the girls had visited beorehand. I'm not an apologist.. His fantasies were generated by years of being locked up.

Much of what he wrote were fictitious tales of very real occurances he witnessed throughout his lifetime & travels.

He mixed in a little of his philosophy into his stories & this was the method he used while composing his works.

yes....reflections......well. you can find it in a well sorted book store that has an adult section or in a adult /erotic store of course. Parts are available in big city libraries, depending a bit in which country you are in- np problem in Germany, maybe a problem in US
