  • Wow ! You have that GR tracking really well. No blips or artifacts, real clean .

  • they are not made in mtl, they are made in LaPatrie Qc.

  • Yes, a Cool Guitar ... I am womdering how many times you would need to here that sound in a Gig ?

  • @FredFrick16 i play a fair bit of ragtime and blues music and (try to) do the bass notes on the lower strings and melody on the higher strings... so if i had the money i'd but this setup in an instant. but then again i just really like ragtime piano, and since theres no way in hell im going to learn stride piano, this is the closest thing. so in my case, i'd use it at every gig atleast somewhere.

  • @jessupar Sounds like you have been playing for some time too. I like the blues and some Rock. I mainly play Acoustic. either my Martin 000-28ec or Taylor 424

  • Bresh inspired me. I bought a Godin Spectrum and a gr20 . I must confess that i was a little disappointed about the workmanship at Godin but the guitar and the sinth make a perfect match.

It's more then guitar and sinth in Bresh sound and he knows that ;) . Bresh, you have a big fan in Romania :D

  • Too sexy for his shirt.

  • Love it! :-) -Derek

  • What does he play at 1:45?

  • awesome post thom,

I might have to get me one of those sometime

  • That Godin has an RMC synth pickup in it. I have the same pickup installed in a number of my guitars. The synth is from Roland..

  • Oh boy... guitar synth jokes... hilarious. Anyone know if I can just get the Godin pickup? I don't want the guitar or their synths.

  • that must feel really awkward to play at first!!

  • Yes, indeed!! Like redking15ca ponted out..'FREAKIN' AWESOME'!! Thom Bresh RULES!!

    Best y'all, Hank C...

  • i was not expecting that!

  • that was cool! PIANO! How did you DO IT???

IS it the guitar or an amp? i didn't see any pedals.....

  • He has a synth pickup which allows him to trigger synth sounds via a Roland or Axion synthesizer, such as a piano, bass, etc. You dig?

  • freakin awesome, at first it looked like he was controlling it throught those little things on the front of the guitar

  • You can control the synth volume / other stuff with the buttons on the Godin. (like turning on pedal mode/ selecting sounds when editing patches/...)

He just turned up the synth volume slider on the front of the guitar

  • AMAZING.

  • All that technology. At least do something original and interesting with it.

  • Thom... love your stuff. What effects unit are you using? Axon or Roland? What model? Thanks.

  • This was done with a GR9.

  • You're STILL using a GR9!?

It's always good to see the guitar playing brethren of the music world adopting some tech that doesn't involve biasing. All this great stuff that's come out in the last 10 to 20 years for guitars and so few have made use of it. Good work and good playing, by the way.

  • You made this video with a macintosh. i know it.

  • ALL cool videos are made with a Mac!!

  • LOL this guy's funny. Great player too

  • Thom, great tune and best performace. Can you name the tune you´re playing in the first "piano" part? Seems to be a rag... Thanks in advance.

  • Thom, YOU are the best! Wish I could see you perform live. It is easy to see that you are doing what you love.

  • i hope can do wonder too with my multiac godin, wait till i got my effect. really you make me save money to get this things. post more pls.

  • Type properly no one can understand that shit.

  • This is awesome.I just bought a Godin ACS Special and I want to get this sound.Thom Bresh sounds like a true original. Thanks

  • That is the coolest thing ever! About what price range are those guitars?

  • I don't know about the price, but you need a guitarsynth with it I believe

  • Look at that hillbilly go crazy over that newfangled tacknawlojay.

  • Great Thom, the old man ! LOL

    Terje

  • Great Thom

    Terje

  • Bravo Thom!!! I also use Godin guitar. Which midi- convertor are you use?

  • I use a number of interfaces. My favorite (tracking wise) live would be the Roland GR-09. I also like the GR-33, but most of my pickups are too hot for it which makes it mistrack.

  • Awesome! I just bought a Multiac and I can't wait to use a synth with it! Thom Bresh Rules!

  • Congratulation on the new guitar fngpckr looking forward to see some videos with it.

    Thom Bresh rules, agreed!
