@FredFrick16 i play a fair bit of ragtime and blues music and (try to) do the bass notes on the lower strings and melody on the higher strings... so if i had the money i'd but this setup in an instant. but then again i just really like ragtime piano, and since theres no way in hell im going to learn stride piano, this is the closest thing. so in my case, i'd use it at every gig atleast somewhere.
@jessupar Sounds like you have been playing for some time too. I like the blues and some Rock. I mainly play Acoustic. either my Martin 000-28ec or Taylor 424
Bresh inspired me. I bought a Godin Spectrum and a gr20 . I must confess that i was a little disappointed about the workmanship at Godin but the guitar and the sinth make a perfect match.
It's more then guitar and sinth in Bresh sound and he knows that ;) . Bresh, you have a big fan in Romania :D
It's always good to see the guitar playing brethren of the music world adopting some tech that doesn't involve biasing. All this great stuff that's come out in the last 10 to 20 years for guitars and so few have made use of it. Good work and good playing, by the way.
I use a number of interfaces. My favorite (tracking wise) live would be the Roland GR-09. I also like the GR-33, but most of my pickups are too hot for it which makes it mistrack.
Wow ! You have that GR tracking really well. No blips or artifacts, real clean .

I might have to get me one of those sometime

That Godin has an RMC synth pickup in it. I have the same pickup installed in a number of my guitars. The synth is from Roland..

Oh boy... guitar synth jokes... hilarious. Anyone know if I can just get the Godin pickup? I don't want the guitar or their synths.

that was cool! PIANO! How did you DO IT???
IS it the guitar or an amp? i didn't see any pedals.....
redking15ca 3 years ago
He has a synth pickup which allows him to trigger synth sounds via a Roland or Axion synthesizer, such as a piano, bass, etc. You dig?
lakeylove 3 years ago
freakin awesome, at first it looked like he was controlling it throught those little things on the front of the guitar
redking15ca 3 years ago
You can control the synth volume / other stuff with the buttons on the Godin. (like turning on pedal mode/ selecting sounds when editing patches/...)
He just turned up the synth volume slider on the front of the guitar
