I was going to say F1 doesn't race at night but I see Singapore staged a night race. Seems kind of dumb when F1 cars don't have headlights or brake lights.

great effects in cockpit. very impressive when the driver really "works" =)

And to all off you, i´ve played it on the GC, and without any aids, so don´t be afraid, its absolutly simulation!!. And trust me, i´m used to play rfactor ( Fsone oder CDTP for those who know about rfactors f1 mods).

so i got a great comparison. awesome game, and what you don´t get from the videos : A great AI. They block, they fight, they crash and they breakt to late.´I defently can´t wait anylonger !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping beyond hope that this is a good sim game. As a GT and rFactor veteran, nothing less than the quality of F1:CE will suffice. I really hope that Codies has listened to the hardcore simmers as well as the casual gamer.

Looking at some of the videos the physics look great, But the multiplayer seems like a bust. 14 player max or something, no dedicated servers, and probably the same awful netcode GRID had.

@free2game The multiplayer is a bit of a disappointment, but I think the career mode will make up for it. From what they've shown us, the career mode looks like an extremely in-depth experience.

@maxh75 You're wrong mate. The gameplay looks arcade because it was set on arcade settings (driving aids). You can make the driving as realistic as you want by turning the driving aids off, trust me! :D

But you're right: It can be set to be as realistic as you want it, including the penalty system.

@lncrx Im not talking about _driving_ aids, im talking about arcade style of game, its not the same thing. Tyre deformation, body flexing for instance. With aids turned off at least its more towards sim rather than full arcade at least. Compare with GTR Evolution for instance, there we got a real sim.

@tkpenalty well, compared with what? Super Mario cart, rFactor, need for speed, live for speed, race 07? Codemasters havent done proper sim'y games for a looong time. Even the TOCA: RAce Driver was total crap out of sim view, they tried fooling people with its slogan; "the real driving simulator" or something like that. I hope im wrong, but im not very confident with codemasters.
