there self title cd with enter sandman was ok. i think the last cd they made that was really good was ....and justice for all. the song used here reminds me of st. anger repeats over the lyrics and the only thing i like from it is the beat only james is done cliff probably the best bassist ever. jason is good too. better than robert tujillo.
i didnt like st anger at all, and i was dissapointed when they had the nerve to say that with that album they were going back to the old heavy days. that album sounds more like the guitarist from system of a down was playing for them.
st anger i don't mind it. isn't that line repeated over and over and over? just like this song lyrics. i like the beat but the lyrics don't make sense. james voice isn't the same no more. its good he quit drinking but that was what gave him his style of singing. i'm not saying he can't get it back without alcohol. just saying he should practice with older stuff to get his voice in shape.
yeah, st anger was so repetative, i got it when it came out, and only got three songs in, before i pulled it out of my cd player and gave it to my friend who liked it. the beat is pretty heavy for "modern rock" but not old metallica that we all know and love.
notice we keep getting thumbs down? thats because theyre new metallica fans, not old metallica fans like us
yeah i've notice that about the thumbs down. i just don't know why metallica just didn't retired on top for and just keep going. i like megadeth more now. i liked both bands equally until st anger. can't beat the 80's metallica.
i got the united abominations cd on sunday. great megadeth cd from start to finish. metallica's songs i like a lot are one and fade to black. if they attempt to sing that now i think james will mess up not cus of he can't remember his lyrics. just cus of how james' voice sounds now.
yeah i heard that one, and it was pretty good, well metallica is coming to arizona, but the last time they toured, everyone of my friends said they were not good at all, they did old songs and they sounded like crap, and this was what? two years ago or so during st anger?
the rollinstones still play everything from the 60s perfect, live, but metallica? how the mighty have fallen
i think its just how james sings and writes lyrics now. i don't like rob playing style. to me i think lars and kirk should find another band if they still want to play cus i think lars and kirk are the only two with talents left on metallica.
yeah i dont like how trujillo plays, i love suicidal tendencies, hes a punk rock bassist, not a trash bassist, since he came into the band theyve been down and down. James has lost it all besides his guitar playing, but even i question his speed on his old songs. Kirk should move on, so should lars
I agree with u but this is prolly the worst song on the whole album. All nightmare long, that was just your life, Cyanide and My apocalypse are all better.
yeah only 3 songs are good on death magnetic. i wouldn't mind if it was an older metallica song like from master of puppets ride the lightning ect but death magnetic? the beat is good but the lyrics and the way james sings makes it sound bad.
True. I love MetallicA but needless to say from 1981-1991 is when they kicked the most ass, with RTL being my fav album. They should've put Disposable Heroes in this video lol
i can't decide what album of metallica's i like the best. its either master of puppets or rtl. disposable heroes or master of puppets would of been nice for this video.

i agree, Kill Em All cant be beaten by their 90s and obviously their 2000 lame efforts
as for megadeth, dave mustaine, hes awesome!
