@JohnnyDesaint This is a tail mount, no special brackets.. The shifter bolts to the 2 top tail shaft housing bolts.. Pete

@ziggassedup Yeah==you got that right. BM shifters are a pain in the ass, and take up alot of valuable room and space in a car like this. Another good shifter is Genie Brand. But they are going out of business due to the economy.

Lokar makes great products. I have almost the same shifter in my Studebaker and I've been real happy with it.
