First i wanted to be a necromancer but i dont like to be "the bad guy" so i decided to be a Guardian instead.

This game is fantastic even if i have 12fps on lowest graphics, stop thinking this game is just fun with high graphics!

My computer jump between 130 fps to 90 fps (when I don't have DX 10) or 25 fps to 50 fps with DX 10. DX 10 it mostly for the players that wants an orgasm without touching themself if you know what I mean ;) The game is awsome on DX 9 aswell :D

I played the 7-day free trial for AoC and I really liked it, and then I fell for the Aion hype and bought it. I shouldn't have. Aion has good pvp actually but horrible and boring pve. In Aion I only felt like I was a part of the world on occasion, in AoC I was there, real immersion. That's what I want.

Plus in Aion the anime stuff gets old.

AoC has both goof pvp and pve, plus a much cooler race/class system. AoC is the first MMORPG that has impressed me since Shadowbane and DAOC years ago.

I bought it and enjoyed it for a while, but the cons outweigh the pros I think. Especially the auction system, poor and worthless loot and terrible professions. WoW is still the best MMORPG and it's new content is much more rewarding and enjoyable. Having said this, i may return to AoC if it's added content improves things.

ranger is my personal favorite, its godly in pvp and nice in pve, dont make a dark templar, and demonologist can one hit kill some people, but choose what you want soon they will balance all the classes seeing as their still working out bugs

Well this was filmed on a rig with 8800 SLI and the 9800 GX2 is pretty much an 8800 shrunk and placed in an SLI config on the one card so I wouldn't say you'd see much change. Of course that's on paper only.

Spears are quite bad ass. Prolly the only game I know where the tank class can literally reach with the weapon and inflict dmg to multiple enemies. The crappy part is they only have one fatality :(

i think polearms in this game look abit stupid on guardians... you get them with those real heavy, big armors and their using a spear?

it also makes it more realistic, as you got many people who used shields and spears.

In a way it seems this game is realy much like wow with improved game play and textures. There isn't much chagne between warlock on wow and here but the hunter on wow to the ranger we seem to have something we didn't that's stealth XD.

The hunter in WoW can't switch to first person mode and get the advantages of range and placed shots that he has in AoC. I'm sure there are other differences but I'm not big on the range department.

The game does have it's share of 'interesting' animation glitches. In the filming of this vid I had several fatalities I cut that featured me beheading thin air.

Yeah I thought the same. It seems kind of weird when the animation is so realistic looking yet it's just a hack and slash fest. I know it'd be much harder to implement but it'd look so much more fluid if the combat was more based around parrying and blocking. Basically a lot less hits but more deadly when you actually land one.

Stats wise? Not that I can discern. Other than they have different builds, different skin tones and bone structure, and some classes are limited to race (most notably the healers and the casters).
