  • this video it's kinda sad...

  • is he still living

  • I have a 5 year old gecko, now that i see that you keep him off sand and try to avoid handling him too much (something i love to do, play with him) ill try to do those things.

  • oh god i hope mine doesnt last for 26 years

  • @foxracing279 why??!!

  • @CruelMaple its a pain in the ass getting crickets and it doesnt do anything. not really a good pet

  • Mines 10 years old now. Pretty amazing how long they can live

  • hey can you make a video on how to take care of a leopard gecko?

  • Geckos are awsome. Mine is about 15 years old now. Got my best bud, Lizzy, in 96.

  • do you ever hold her???

  • @lightsaberboy08 Yes, I hold her when I remove shed from her fingers, and when I clean her terrarium. She is quite tame but I leave her alone to keep her stress level low.

  • That's good. I wish Dink good luck!

  • why do you only feed two crickets?

  • @xOCPx She usually loses interest after 2 crickets.

  • Thanks! :) I just learned that "Giant Leopard Gecko" doesn't mean adult...Tia's going to be HUGE!!! at least she won't be pushed around by Cowboy! :)

  • what's the song?

  • Eden, by Hooverphonic

  • she's so cute when she sees the cricket. :)

  • aw that makes me miss my first leo i had, Dash! she looked kind of like yours, but she died when she was 3 from eating sand... now i have Cowboy (dash's mate) and a new 1 year old, Tia Dalma!

  • Long live Cowboy! I hope he doesn't miss Dash too much.

  • @TheCadetsRock When mine was I think 4 years old he ate sand and all of his organs became clogged up. Poor thing couldn't eat or drink for 3 weeks. We came up with an idea as a last resort and just squirted tons of baby oil into his mouth. After another 3 days, he passed all of the impacted sand. He is still living today at almost 13 years old. I saved his life!

  • I love your vids! Please check out mine and subscribe man!

    Thanks alot.

  • 25 years?!?! I was thinking about picking up leo but thats a commitment and a half

  • dont worry most are not that old

  • Dink is amazing. The songs fits too. Willl you ever pick up a companion for her?

  • A companion would be a lot of stress for her at this point, and she's definitely too old to mate. Although silly, I like to think of me and my friends as her companions. lol

  • When is Dink's next B-day?

  • She'll be adopted 26 years ago on March, 18 but she was already many months old when she was adopted.

  • SO cute and well owned and cared. Mine one, Bart, is only 5 :) Good luck to Dink!

  • Dink is one beautiful and well cared for gecko I hope mine live as long they are like my 2 babies :)

  • is dink still alive?

  • you kept him in great shape..... my leos havent died yet.... bout 3 years! when i get a crested gecko it always gets mouth rot....

  • That's a shame about the mouth rot. Crested geckos are so cool looking. Aren't they the ones that can climb glass walls?

  • yea they r they get really big

  • Your Leo is almost as old as I am. Lol. Keep up the good work!

  • What do you do to your leopard gecko to keep him alive for that long?

  • that's really amazing looks like he's had a great life for him to have bean on earth for 24 years hope he's doing well and having a great life

  • Go dink ! Hope you will have many many years to come. Nice gecko rcocker :)

  • Hey, thanks.

  • go dink!

  • Dead crickets are just much easier for me. I was concerned about her health when I switched to canned crickets, but that was about 4 years ago and she's been very healthy since then. I do occasionally get her live ones so she can run around.

  • hey why dead crickets?

  • Very cool gecko,

  • You can tell she's really old, still going strong though!

  • wow thats probaly your best friend but the thing is that will be sad when he/she dies because what all u guys been through

  • i get happy knowing people like u give animals a second chance and house them so well they live to be this old. Hope he gets to go beyond 30 :)

  • i can't believe he's 25 years old that is so awesome

  • is he albino or anythin like tht

  • She's a standard Leopard Gecko. Twenty-five years ago, when Dink was purchased, the fancy breeds were extremely rare and not available in pet stores.

  • has dink ever dropped his tail?

  • Never dropped a tail. I'm Dink's second caretaker and I'm still good friend's with the first owner an he says she never dropped a tail either. Her tail used to come to a perfect point but she lost about 2mm of it due to poor shedding. I keep the cage more humid since then. Its a huge tail and I'm not sure why.

  • Dink's tail is probably huge because of so much fat stored in there after 25 years.

  • he may be old but he is still a sexy gecko lol. Kinda looks like my grandpa.

  • thats a long time and I hope he lives longer

  • 2 more years to go. good luck dink

  • wow this is a very special leopad gecko thats for sure :)

  • lets see if Dink can break the record. i believe it is 27.

  • you must have a good bond with him, and it would be really sad if het dies

  • keep going Dink!

  • Still looking great! 5 Stars!

  • wow awsome lil fella he is and 25 years of age thats amazing and another amazing thing hes a normal leopard gecko one of the originals haha

  • Go Dink! congrats on 25 years!

  • nice job taking care of her/him

  • wow, 25 years? thats awesome to have her that long!
