no because it flexes around and if u want to protect the acrylic buy some clear coat and spray it on the acrylic

so you are saying if i paint my nikes, with acrylic they wont crack with a matte finish (coat)?, of does acrylic only work with vans, and other shoes amde with same material?

i think u have to sand down the nikes with acetone and them sand them down with sandpaper....depends what type of nikes u got

dont listen to siulotos, dont use acrylic paint if u ever want to wear them more then once, use angelus paints, and with nikes u have to use acetone and get all of the paint of before u start painting ur designs and colors on them, it will take a long time to get off the paint though, dont use any sandpaper at all
