I swear this song was playing in my dreams. I was walking in a forest on a starry night... And then an angel lead me on too these platforms that were like glass in the sky. We danced to the melody. It was the most joy I ever felt in a condensed moment.
@martymanga You are right. It is the same melody. Do you think one of these is the original and the others are covers or maybe it's a traditional melody that has no name so everybody just calls it whatever they want? This is bugging me now. What's the original's name? Nobody knows.
@tuschman168 I like it... I like the mystery behind the composition. If we listened to the radio, heard a mainstream song then we could search it, buy it, done. This is something so many of us have heard on futurama but so few have had the effort to try and trace back to it's roots. I like the idea of mystery behind it - where did this composition come from? It's so beautiful and magnificent that it just amazes me :D It sets it apart and really makes it something special
this song is so cool

I could be crazy, but I think in the DVD commentary, David Cohen says that the music is from a Beethoven sonata. (?)

@ameteurprogamer that might be the other parts from fry's opera?
morvorify 1 year ago
@ameteurprogamer You're right. They said it was derived from Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata.
