Wow, thanks so much for uploading thiss! :D I was getting... pretty pissed off at this level. Then I tried this strategy, and tada! First time, beat it. Also, for everyone else: you can do this right after you set down Macmillian, you dont have to wait half way through like the guy in the video did. Advice: put claymores around the corners!

First time a guy walked up to me and shot me round the corner,

second time a guy was hiding on the otherside of the chopper when i went to get macmillan.

Third time i threw all my flashes around the chopper and almost died because one of the guys was blocking the entrance to the chopper, but i did it.

note: i can't confirm it and it may be risky. but I was using this tactic on veteran and i realised soldiers kept running around the corner, i was weilding a shotgun at the time. For some reason, as shown on the guide, i held the c4 remote instead of my shotgun and got far less coming around the corner (about 6 coming before, now only 2). Not sure if this is the reason or i was just lucky.

This is a good tip.

The C4 tactic worked like a charm, though I had to practice a few times, because I didn't do it exactly as in the video. So follow the video down to the letter, except for the C4 he plants in front of his hiding place. May as well use that to help clear the way to the sniper...

This is a lot harder on Veteran, because the guys throw multiple grenades every second. And when the helicopter arrives and I blow the C4, when I run out in the open they all shoot at me and I die.

ive completed 5 call of dutys on vetran and only levels have been a tough challenge for me...

3 - D-Day ON COD 2 - the level takes 2 hours to start with never mind on veteran.

2 - No fighting in th war room on COD 4 - you have 9 minutes to do a full level... wow

1 - heart of the riech on waw - hardest level ever on any cod

mile high club? really? just through a few flashbangs and your done the level took me 45 seconds ffs.

@amazingdany You have to check first. If they shoot, hide, get your AK-47 or whatever you had, throw a flashbang, shoot whoever was there, then get your C4 out, click it, sprint crazy or take out any remaining targets. Then when you get to MacMillan, shoot any targets blocking your way to the heli. Then get through and you'll make it.

Also, this was on Hardended, not on Veteran.

I used this technique to beat this level first try. But I had read some of the comments about it not working so I just saved my claymores and planted the C4, ran to the corner and set one claymore in front and one to my right and just replaced them when they were detonated by an enemy, worked like a charm.

I honestly think Heat was the hardest mission. This one gave me a lot of grief when I was newer and on Hardened, but when I advanced up to Veteran it lost a lot of difficulty. Took about 10 tries though xD and Mile High Club really isn't hard on Veteran, as long as you use your flashbangs.

Good idea

The hardest levels in the game are:

1. Shock and awe (the bit when you regroup)

2. One shot one kill ( the bit with the ferris wheel)

3. Heat (the bit when you have to go back down the hill

4. No fighting in the war room (that is one bastard of a level on veteran)

5. Mile high club (if you can complete this level on veteran then you are a cod pro)

The strategy I used on veteran pissed me off with how easy it was. here is a little shed north of where you're suppose to drop Macmillan. I got in it and laid down, backed up to where I couldn't get up. No one ever came in. They threw countless frags and flash bangs, but they never tried to come in. Heli showed, I ran and grabbed Macmillan, got show a bazillion times, went to the heli, and BOOM! I got my achievement. Are you invincible when you carry him at the end? Cause that should've kill me.

@wiiplayxbox360 I think I tried running in one direction to spawn people, and then turned around to another direction. That was hard as fuck. If you have flashbangs left, use them. No fighting in the war room was the hardest mission to me. I haven't beat mile high club though.

Try head down the radio tower first, than near the house where you detonate the C4.

If u get to certin spots quick u will get checkpoints, just like on CONTINGENCY (which is sort of annoying)
