Mostly agree with the video :). Love SH more than RE. But RE isn't the trend setter in this genre. Actually it was 'Alone in the dark' that started it all.

I think Silent Hill should have won for characters. Who decided on Resident Evil's B-movie action heroes over Silent Hill's rich, shocking, well-paced, psychologically detailed character development (more appropriately character "revelation") that spans the entire game and even more playthroughs? I think they shouldn't be voting based on which is more badass; it may work for gameplay (kickass over crappy-on-purpose), but which characters took more time, effort, and talent to construct?

i think both are amazing series but saw a masiv dive in later years, RE pirists will agree 4 and 5 were not true to the resident evil bloodline but played much better than previous games/, and SH purist know that . . . well 4 and homecoming, while being good games aint realy what we play them for, in sh4 well its wasint supposed to be a sh game it was tagged on so it has little to do with the series, and homecoming takes the fealing of being powerless and needing to run from enimys away.

Well I don't know about the plot, since RE has a lot more depth to it thant the video shows, but with the RE5 argument in which the core of the story loosses itself completely I think it causes an autoloose against a franchise that never gave up it's essence
