Yamaha WR 250 Onboard

I find it really funny how people that comment about wanting to race enduro but have never ridden a four stroke. I purchased a new 1996 WR250 2 stroke (WR = wide ratio) and it was a very fast desert bike. Now riding the yzf450 i find it a completely different style of riding and throttle control but yet power delivery when you need it. No clutching effort ...unless you're on a mxTrack. But i enjoy these video perspectives of the thrill...Can't wait to get my new helmet cam.

"F" means four stroke. Thats all they make now, and what this bike is. The poster just didnt include "F" in the title.

Fountainpower, you are totally wrong. "F" is for competition. There is the wr250X, is four strokes too and is white and street legal.

BTW, yamaha is still making the 2 stroke

awsum riding, igot myself a 93 rmx250, but im gonna start enduro racing, an im gonna get a new bike. im thinking a 250exc-f of a wr250. wat are the 250 for strokes like in boggy sand? i'v never ridden a 4 stroke so i dont know wat they are like. how would they go compaired to the 2 stroke 250 i have now?

I think I've made my mind. I would love to have a wr 250 but with all the money we lost my parents can't afford it so I'll go with the CRF 230... I only trail ride and I don't give much shit about the acceleration because my friend is less then 5 feet tall so he rides a kx 65. I just want top speed and CRF 230 has a lower price and a great high speed for riding in the neighborhood and the trails...

i have a 2006 WR 250 and it is a great bike. what this guys doing isnt the easiest stuff, no matter how easy he makes it look. and hes goin about 30 mph at least the time, and at 38 seconds he prolly easily got to about 45-50 mph, so yes, we rednecks who ride dirtbikes can get goin pretty fatst you fucking fag
