The LEDs are the expensive thing... they are about 20cents a piece...

The parts for the controller probably add up to 5-10 bucks.

Thats what I do now.

I got a good deal on some 5meter LED strtips and have about 5 of em hooked up in my room now! It's actually bright enough when I put them to white, that I don't need a ceiling lamp.

Just make sure, that (if you are using my circuit) the strips are Common Cathode.

yeah its all controlled by one atmega8, which is afaik the microcontroller used in the arduino kit.

Ist das egal welche RPG-Steuerung ich nehme oder brauche ich eine bestimmte um die an den Pc anzuschließen ?

Ich wollte eine haben die ich mit einer Fernbedienung steuern kann, ist ja meistens dabei aber auch nach belieben, nebenbei am Rechner steuern kann zusätzlich.

Am liebsten wo ich auch den Farbenwechsel stoppen kann und viele verschiedene arten habe das licht zu ändern also die überläufe usw.

Wer schön wenn da jemand helfen kann ;)

where did you get so many LEDs?

frage:

benutzt du für die 3 farbkanäle die selben stromstärken?(also z.b. 3 ströme a <20mA bei den superflux)

und passt du dann die farbmischung softwaremäßige an? (sonst leuchten die leds ja wenn weiß vorgegeben ist hellblau)

oder

hast du unterschiedliche stromstärken, sodass blau und grün weniger "saft" bekommen?

und wie kann man erkennen bei welchen frequenzen+amplituden der musik welche farben entstehen?

die Ströme sind bei allen Farben gleich.

wenn alle farben voll an sind leutet es bei mir aber eher rot-violette. Das liegt daran, dass der grüne chip der schwächchste is, dann kommt blau und rot is bei vollem Strom am hellsten... liegt einfach an den verwendeten LEDs.

wenn ich echtes weiß möchte, regel ich das am PC nach... aber meißtens ist es mir nich wichtig die Farben genau richtig zu haben... es geht ja nur um lichteffekte..... und weiß mach ich so gut wie nie!

die Musik analyse hab ich Winamp überlassen; das is ein riesiges anderes Thema sich da einzuarbeiten....

bzw hab ich auch ein anderes plugin für DMXcontroll geschrieben um darüber mein licht zu steuern.
