That was the Amiga 1000 I think. It was revolutionary at the time. Although awfully expensive, the nearest Macintosh did not have the same video hardware but alas...the Mac was still much easier to use.
Actually That's not true. The Mac was harder to use than an Amiga..Believe me. Mac didn't even have an RS232 Port when Amiga was around.. Mac did have serial capabilities but only 422.
Thanks for bringing up that the Mac did not have a standard port that wouldn't have been used anyway because it was a piece of shit. You make a good point by countering my ease of use statement with "No it wasn't."
Since we're playing that game, I am replying "Yes it was!"
Mac couldn't multitask back then...the Amiga did it from day 1!
