There are many rilles spread across the surface of the moon of varying lengths. None go all the way around the moon.

Such a big event would have been seen all across the world and not just in Arabia, Unless it was just a Total Solar or Lunar Eclipse which is limited only to a particular small region.
When viewed in a Scientific Perspective, We can say it was probably an Eclipse that Muhammad used to fool others into believing to was a Miracle. Modern Science explains how eclipses are caused, THAT is not a Miracle Lol

@MsViollentia Lol, that article is just Islamic propaganda like this video. The photograph does not show evidence of a split moon. It shows an indentation on the moon's surface known as a "rille". There are many rilles spread across the surface of the moon of varying lengths. None go all the way around the moon.
