  • tescos is everywhere in the uk

  • Where did you get the velcro dots and the colored dots for color-coding? Does copic sell those color dots? Does what I'm saying make sense?

  • how many promarker colors is there ?

  • @DemonXsamaXArt Well, she said there are 7 markers in each row, and there are 10 rows... so, you do the math. ;)

  • hi i like this video but wont the ink dry out by putting them upside down ?

  • :O Wowwww!!! What an amazing collection!! Love it <3

  • rrtttttttyyyyuyuuuuuii

  • if you dont give me all your copics i will kill you -.-

  • @badyuff those are promarkers not copics.

  • If you make mini drawings, you can put them in the cd holders in the plastic(the one you said you didn't know what to do with)!

  • very good solution... CHECK MY PROFILE if you like dope marker sketches. big up

  • TESCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How Many pro markers do you have and how much do the cost if you buy all of then at once?

  • wow, i have like 11 promarkers, and i feel really noobish looking at this video, xD lolol

  • This is a really clever idea - certainly better than paying through the nose for the official storage solutions!

  • the case has been discountined.

  • Thanks for this video. I've just brought 60 pro markers from hobby crafts. (50% off) :) and this is a perfect way to store them. :)

  • are promarkes the same as copic sketch?

    great idea!

  • @ellesomerheath No they're not. I used promarkers for a couple years, cos they were on sale at Hobbycraft (as they are right now) but since getting a set of Copic Ciaos (basically mini versions of the Sketch) I won't go back to the Promarkers now.

The main difference I find is the Copics bleed less into cartridge paper, and they don't affect the black line of my (Copic) fineliners. The PMs bleed quite a lot, they can smudge my fine lines, and they don't give such a smooth finish.

  • i was just wondering how much the tesco cd case cost? and also what was the name of the website that you got your colour chart from again?? thankyou

  • where did u get all the promarkers from and would u beable to email me a chart of all the colours i like your idea xD

  • never thought I would here an American talk about Tescos XD

  • @RaelDanger same

  • great idea ,thanks

  • isnt storing them that way really bad for them? thought you should store on side.

  • @laughingmongoose They're alcohol based so the ink flows easily to both ends, unlike water based pens which need to be horizontal.

  • Love your storage solution. I just started and only have 6.

  • NICE!!!

  • what a great idea!Just got my first set of promarkers and cant wait to try them :D

  • are you rich? since you have soo many?

  • @RozalaR Very rich; but with something money can't buy! :) I have a great family!

  • @injoystampin That's the best reply I have ever read to that question :D

  • @RozalaR she has probably has saved up to 2,000 dollars and by all of them, thats my hench

  • @RozalaR Promarker was a drug

  • @RozalaR I do have to say that the Pro/Flex Markers are a lot less expensive than the Copic Sketch Marker.

  • Thought it was eyeshadow. lol

  • @injoystampin thanks :) cuz I get them at a local art store but they dont have a collection that am satisfied with; they cost 3.50$ so I guess they're alright. :)

  • @xDLN8 On the Joanna Sheen website (you'll have to google it) they have free shipping worldwide and have the whole collection most of the time so that makes it nice. It comes from England (where the Promarkers are from) but has very fast shipping. Hope that helps. :)

  • Those r not copic markers there prismacolor markers, just thought ud like to know :)

  • @prodigyxd2000 LOL, actually they are not Prismacolor markers they're Letraset Promarkers. Sorry if you got confused and thought I said Copics. :)

  • How did you get your collection? :o

  • @xDLN8 I bought them from the Joanna Sheen website.

  • yes! i love tescos :D

*bugs parents to take me there*

  • May I ask where exactly you got the case? I cannot locate a Tesco in the U.S. Thanks

  • @NoteletsByDesign As far as I know, there is not Tesco in America, I got mine while living in Ireland. I'm sure there are lots of similar cases in the U.S. though. It may take a little looking around. Hope you find one.

  • you have Tesco's in America?!

  • @UKAlexJames LOL No, there is no Tesco in the States. I got mine in Belfast, NI where we lived.

  • i have promarker and wont to put the stickers on the base so i can c them when i put them away where do u get the white circle sticker keep looking in stationary shops but cant find them( i though they would be easy to find )

    great video

  • @lottiedottieb Those stickers are EVERYWHERE, but they are mostly hidden XD. So you have to search a bit (:

  • @lottiedottieb I just used white card and then punched out with a 19mm or 3/4" circle punch. I coloured them in myself. I then adhered them to the tops of the pens using a glue dot. Hope that helps. x

  • this is a great idea!!!

  • Im loving these markers, they are the best quality for the price.

  • joannasheen. com <- heres the link

  • It is preferable to store markers horizontal

  • Yay for promarkers ! Is it the twin tipsyou have? And where did you get your blender pen? Have been looking for ages !

  • @supernintendogal They are the twin tips, and I purchased them from Joanna Sheen's website (just google her name if you're not familiar with her site). She ships worldwide with no p&p charges. Hope that helps. :c) LOVE my Promarkers!

  • where did you buy them pls tell me pls :3 ???

  • @jjtvgirl I purchased them from Joanna Sheen's website. You can just google her name if you're not familiar with her URL. Hope that helps. :)

  • Wow you have Alot of markers! Good I dea foe storage anyways what brand of marker is that are they good and are they cheap? By the way brilliant video!

  • @ilovethebeatles7771 The markers are Letraset Promarkers. They are the English made alcohol marker that is comparable to the Copic but much less expensive. I know I'm seeing them pop up in a lot of online stores lately so must be getting more popular as the price of Copics has risen. I definitely recommend the Promarkers. Hope that helps. :c)

  • love this idea. looking for a solution for a while now. just bought a cd case. thanks for sharing!

  • Fabulous idea ! Less than 20€ for that case on amazon.fr...

I've also a printed excel chart with all the colors.

  • Hi Robyn:),could you send me via e-mail that chart with the colors?I would be so happy if you could send me:).

  • *o*

  • Where can you get these promarkers at???

  • @Wolfanime365 amazon or ebay are probably cheapest option

  • nice idea! :)

  • XDDDD TESCO'S my mum works in one.

  • Thanks Robyn...I recently bought some 8mm round white labels which work really well. Will be getting the case this week. D

  • This is such a great idea...but none of my Promarker pens have the colour on the flat lid...where did you get these from?

  • @danbobs25 Oh, I did those myself using my markers and a 3/4" circle punch. I just adhered them to the top of my marker pens using a glue dot. HTH, Robyn x

  • that looks like a great idea Robyn. I will try it. Have you found any problems with it - it says on the box of my markers to always store them horizontally. Have you found storing them vertically causes any probs? x

  • @nerkola30 Hey there girl, how are you? I've missed your cheerful voice and fun videos. :c) So far, all is well with storing them this way. I rang Joanna Sheen's shop and I guess she always stores them upright with no difficulties. If I notice any problems, I'll definitely post an update video to let people know. I really love this storage idea and it's worked fab for me. Hugs, Robyn x

  • what a great idea will have to invest in a cd case i only have a small amout of promarkers but im building my collection slowly

  • You make Tesco sound like its mysterious shop that no one knows about....-.-

  • @rachypachy09 Since 90% of my viewers are in the US, it is pretty mysterious to them as Tesco is not over there. LOL Thanks for watching.

  • What an awesome idea! Just love it Robyn...TFS!

  • What a good way to store your markers. They are portable, too! Thanks for sharing ~Dera

  • I don't have any markers but this is a great storage idea...this may even work for stamp sets :o)

  • Hello from Michigan! :) Great storage idea...I am trying to figure out a good storage solution for my Copic Sketch markers.

    Happy New Year!

  • I stumbled upon your video the other day then randomly went to a store and ran into the markers. I can't believe the price difference between these and the copics. I'm planning to buy my first 50 do you have any suggetions on where I should start color wise?

  • This is a super way to store markers!! I dont have enough Copics yet to do this but I love this idea!!

  • very cool ideal

  • I love it and I am from Michigan too!!!

  • Great system...thanks for passing this idea on!

  • Hi Robyn, Can I just say a big thank you for passing on this idea. I have just ordered mine from my local tescos and cant wait to get it. Can I ask what part of Northern Ireland you are from

  • Great and economical storage idea. Hoping to get a set of markers one of these days - for now I have sharpies but unfortunately they don't make the lighter colors. I live in the Traverse City, MI area - have you ever visited here? Beautiful area. TFS

  • @crazylovingit1 I haven't been there, but my sweet hubby has and he said the forest is just breathtakingly gorgeous! I think Michigan is lovely nearly anywhere you go. :c) Getting a bit homesick over the holidays.

  • Yay Michigan! I'm from there too (live in Florida now though)

  • @crush0227 My parents just left (Michigan) for FL a couple of days ago, they are snow birds the past couple of years and love the Bradenton area. :c)

  • Good idea.

  • I do not have these kind of markers however is a great idea and so happy you found something that works for you!!! Awesome :)

  • great storage system for your markers.

  • Great tip - question - where did you order your markers from. I don't have any yet but you have definetly inspired me to look into it now. TFS Laura.

  • I don't have any markers yet as they are expensive! I hope one day though! Love the storage you found! TFS! Hugs:)

  • Awesome storage system! TFS!

    Lily :)

  • Robin~Such a great idea!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I too am concerned about storing my copics vertically...I only have a little wicker shelf I found at my local Good Will that I am keeping mine in laying flat! But its not so handy ya know if I want to take them into another room or anything like that! : ( I too have to scrap/craft alone due to being so isolated here in the boonies of South Eastern Kentucky! And you are so right about it making the ladies here on YT so special!

    Hugs~Robyn

  • @pondbranchpurdy Hi Robyn, one thing about the case is that even if there is concern about horizontal/vertical storage, the case can always be stored on it's side so that the markers lie flat while not in use because of the lid. :c) Thank you so much for your comment, hugs to you in SE Kentucky (such a beautiful area, we've traveled through that area many times!!) All the very best to you in the New Year! ❦, Robyn :c)

  • @injoystampin ....I am so sorry...I misspelled your name!! And I remember now that you and I had talked before about our names bein spelled the same!! But there are several "Rob-i-y-n's" LOL on here and it can be confusing if you dont stay in touch real often!! But I should have remembered you because of you being in Ireland...I am just so jealous of you.LOL!! Have always wanted to see Ireland, my mothers maiden name was Patrick so cant get much more Irish than that!! Happy New Year to You!! : )

  • @pondbranchpurdy Awww, no worries Robyn. :c) Hey, how about the 2 Robyns switch places, you come here for a couple of weeks (bring your raincoat, umbrella, and camera) and I'll go to there to the nearest Mike's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnns, Archivers, and Walmart...oh...can't forget Cracker Barrell (my fav). We'll both be happy campers. LOL There really is no place like home, and now I'm really homesick! haha :c) ❦Robyn

  • Colorful eye candy for sure! Have fun with them. I know that you will come out with some really awesome projects using your markers (no pressure...hehehe!)

    Hauoli Makahiki Hou!

    Aloha!

  • Oh that is awesome! I am buying the promarkers this coming month and now I know how I will store them! Thanks for sharing this and I will check out the person you got it from.

    Cindy

  • Well that is very close...A2 is about 20 mins away from me. Do you know of any groups that get together and swap ideas? I always scrap alone, but would love some company or sharing of ideas.

  • @atrue14u We've lived in Ireland for several years, so I wouldn't know of anything off-hand, but I do know that over at Splitcoast there was a Michigan Mingle group. They get together (or did) at least once a year. I scrap alone too so I know what you mean. It makes the YouTube community extra special doesn't it? To just share things on here that we've been working on. Such a small world, we always travel I94 up that way when we get a chance to go home. :c)

  • Great storage solution! I'll have to share this with the girls in my Yahoo group who have copics. TFS, Heather

  • I am so happy to hear you are from MI...what part? I live in the metro detroit area...west side. Great idea, and thanks for sharing!!

  • @atrue14u Hubby and I are both from just south of the Ann Arbor area. :c)

  • Nice video. Only concern is the Pro Markers are supposed to be stored flat, & here they are upright.

  • @lajkitty I was concerned about that as well but so far, with the research I've done the consensus is that only the metallic ones? need to be stored flat. I called Joanna Sheen's company who is very well educated with them and they said she stores them vertical. I'll keep my eyes out for signs of trouble though. Thanks so much

  • Great idea for storage whom ever came up with it! TFS...

    Huggs,

    Gale The Happy Stamper :)

  • Hi Robyn, I love all your markers I have few of them and few copic I love them too, great fun. I have a question, I herd if you storage the pens standing like you did the pens will bleed the ink out, and the best way is to storage them horizontaly, I'm not sure, What do you think? TFS, a great New Year to you and yours

    warm hugs

    Edina

  • nice storage!

  • That is a really cool storage system! Thanks for sharing it with us. JIL

  • @stampyra Thanks Jil, I'm really excited about it. :c) Happy New Year! Hugs, Robyn

  • Hi Robin. Where did you purchase your markers. I did however purchase some Prismacolor markers, but want some other colors. How would you rate your markers?

    Thanks

  • @MichelleLuvs2Scrap Hi Michelle, I am still new to the Promarkers, but I have to say that I am completely thrilled with them. I like the control that the firm tip gives over the Copics. I purhased them from the Joanna Sheen website (she's extremely reputable over here). I'd put the link, but YouTube won't allow it. You can easily find it in Google though. She offers free worldwide shipping and no minimum order. Prices are listed in Sterling but check out oanda dot com to convert amount.HTH
