@7669ponies That was just in the first class, it's because after we crashed through the one fence I lost control, the second circle was because he tripped. Wow two circles that's a lot, but all the other classes he was PERFECT!!!!
@7669ponies Yeah we don't either usually. If you do three circles you are called out of the arena and if you do any you don't place, but since I'd already ruined my course, I thought I'd just calm my horse down, rather than crashing through another fence or getting him more excited by letting him run. Keeping him calm is what we've been working on with him, so I didn't want to ruin all that work by just running through the rest of the course when I didn't have a chance of placing anyway. It worke
@rebamac96 I know I love him. I'd only been riding him for a couple weeks before this. The funny thing is I owned him here and didn't even know it. My parents bought him like a week or two after my horse Sinbad passed in September, but I didn't find out until christmas morning.
Yea I know mike is really cool i REALLY like him and i am excited for a change and stuff its just it will be hard to leave ariel :[ I will still see her and stuff which will be good! I am so excited to lease patch!!!! :D
@IrOcKs0xS15 Yeah, but you know it's whatever feels best for you to do. If you're working really good why not stick with her, but if you really do want to lease patch that's tough. I had to switch trainers when I started riding Indi and it was really tough, but Ariel's incredible. No matter what you choose it will work out in the end.
I know ariel is amazing! I am going though a really tough time now cause if i lease patch ariel wont be my instructor anymore and i will have to have mike. I dont know what to do :[
@IrOcKs0xS15 Well I can tell you that Mike is an amazing trainer. He has made me a MUCH better rider. Ariels amazing also though. When I couldn't afford to train when my dad lost his job she would give me unofficial lessons, which meant a ton to me, but if you really feel like you should lease him, then you can try it for a month or two and if it's not going very well you can always go back.
@PokeyRider1 Get a life loser. I had to sell him. We couldn't afford two horses because my dad lost his job. We made sure he got a good home. I had him for three and a half years. Then my other horse Sinbad had to be ut down just a little while after I had to sell Dickens. I will be able to have Indi for a long time though. He's only about seven and will be able to take me far.
@ShowJumperGirl101 Thanks, but my eq kind of sucks. It was medal finals, so I was cometing again like 20 riders, but we got third in our hunter round and third in the classic. He was AMAZING!
@electricstride THANKS!!! MY MOM AND DAD GOT HIM FOR ME FO XMAS!!!!!!!! Actually they bought him right after Sinbad assed away, but I just found out on xmas.
He goes round more like a showjumper tgan hunter, but still very good :)
