Couldn't you try changing the wheels of the train with some more resistant wheels. You could have rubber wheels that might create more friction therefore slowing it down.... Just a suggestion

You should turn off the launch mechanism for the tunnel launch. It'd slow the train down for the rest of the course. Unless it doesnt make it over the pond hill..

Were you the one who was featured on the OnPoint Blog? BTW, I also am from NE Ohio and love Maverick. How many times have you've been on Maverick and do you always sit in a certain spot. This recreation is awesome. I've made a Knex Maverick and it's nice but doesn't even get close to comparing to your amazing skills with Coaster Dynamix. To bad you couldn't slow it down then launch or is there not any brakes for Coaster Dynamix. Are you considering a Millennium Force recreation. 10/5

To answer your question 2346, it is only expensive when you build stuff like this. The coaster Dynamix standard sets are the Dragon for $500.00 and the Scorpion for $200
