a was once at a marked, two seperated streets the one street was mainstreet and the second was a small street for main street you had to pay a fee to put up your stand but the other street was free. thanks to god i had some money on me and i payd for a spot on main street. somebody whit the same kind of stuff for the same prices didn't pay. he had a profid of aroun 100$ and loughed ad me for paying afterwards i showed him my money a profit of 250$ in three hours.
storageauctions101 your correct, if you work outside only - you need a black book to keep your contacts, collectors, as nothing great should ever make it to a fleamarket, you should have the contact for cash. We should have a list of collectors willing to pay for neat stuff. jack inside does generally bring more than out side - its true.
I used to sale at fleamarkets. I had booths outside and more inside. I found that the good stuff sold better inside and the cheaper stuff sold better outside.
I found the most lucrative selling goes on before the gate opens to the public.Be prepared for this as savvy dealers will be looking through your stuff as you set up looking to get something you have underpriced or may not be sure of value. Do your homework on your items and be willing to give the other dealers a break sometimes .Good Karma goes a long ways in this business !!

i used to work at a sports shop, and the owners used to mark up merchandise before putting it on clearance sale.
they would mark stuff up 50% before putting it on 75% clearance sale. hahaha!!!
